Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Thanks so much, CatMom, BWeaves, 86C and Shani! BWeaves, I’m glad I have that one;).

Shani, I had to find that necklace to see what I did because I tend to go back and forth with that style as to whether I use wire or thread. I was pretty sure I used wire, but I was surprised to find it was on thread. I ran the thread straight through and did not use additional knots between the larger beads. For all my projects with thread, I exclusively use Pattye’s Serafil.

A tin cup necklace I made with Akoya pearls from PacificPearls.US,, dangly keshi and tourmaline earrings from Kojima, and a strand of tiny FW pearls from a PP Live event. I put myself on the waitlist for these little pearls because I originally thought I would use them with my projects, but for now, I strung them up to wear. I might just leave them as a necklace.

OOO, lovely JEG, as usual.

Lighting is terrible for me today. Pistachio baroque akoya necklace from PP. It was the only one at my first Ruckus. Never seen one since that was THIS pistachio. Pistachio Tahitian studs from Kojima. Never seen any since that were THIS pistachio. Pistachio Tahitian tin-cup from Kojima. It's the reason I didn't buy JEG's SOC necklace, because it looked too similar to my Tahitian one that I'd just bought, except mine is seriously pistachio. And a mixed random tin-cup from Kojima. Baby Nurse got its twin. Tahitian ring from Kojima. SOC ring with pearl from Douglas at my last Ruckus set in a pink gold Frost setting from PP.

I seriously lucked into the best pistachios.

Thanks, BWeaves! I feel as you do- so lucky to have had the opportunities to add special pieces to our collection. I am also so grateful to know such wonderful pearl people around the world.

Congratulations Pomelo! Keep us posted on your baby event. The pearl belt adds such a fantastic element to your outfit!

Vintage Biwa necklace from Fuji (PacificPearls.US), with earrings I made.

Beautiful!

Welcome Shani!!! You need to check out Pattye's Etsy shop for thread, gimp (those metal spring ends) and tiny wire needles. I like Bella Findings for less expensive findings or close jump rings or Rhodium sliver... someone else will have to recommend the $$$ ones.

BWeaves....Stunning look I love it all!!! Thanks for the coin idea...I have a clasp that has that flower look & lovely coin pearls...both waiting to figure out what to do with them....your ideas is brilliant! I like the clasp to be semi-matched in size and it was on tiny pearls. (Taking a break from triple strands for the moment!)
I have already ordered some thread, it feels very nice to the touch and I used it to string my first ever project which I will share once I finally catch up on all of these posts! I think I am up to page 700 :)

Cold today. Cashmere and pearls. Black and white Tahitian studs from Kamoka. Natural white Hanadama rope from PP. Blue akoyas and teeny tiny keshi rope, and blue baroque akoya pendant from Takahashi and the PP Live events.

I'm glad you got the blue Akoya and keshi piece. It pairs well with so much of what you already have, and it looks like it's fun to wear.
