I am a bit late posting about the September pearl buy but I didn't forget! September is the biggest show of the year for us because we select inventory for the Christmas season and that means a lot (and I mean a lot) of inventory. Hisano and I don't have much time to look for the "fun" stuff in...

Day 40:

This is the feather pearl ring I purchased from Sarah at Kojima Pearl. I bought it during the 2016 ruckus when I had the pleasure of seeing Sarah in person and got to pour through her phenomenal pearl creations. I wanted badly to buy more but I was on a budget and settled on this special ring.

The shank of the ring is sterling silver and the pearl looks like a little feather wing. Our family includes a beloved group of hens and two roosters so feathers hold a special place in my heart.

I picked out those pearls for PP when I was in Hong Kong, and yes, my eyes were crossed after a few hours of staring at the amazing metallic whites to find the ones that "screamed". I remember thinking how the iridescent luster of the most spectacular pearls reminded me of soap bubbles. I'd be ready to go back any time! Feel free to drop hints to PP...

And BN, they do look absolutely gorgeous on you!!!

LOL yes we all need to start sending some not so subtle hints to PP demanding more Sheri Screamer strands!!! I want 3!!!

I love the feather ring! Sarah's designs are amazing.
I kick myself each and every time someone mentions the screamers...they send me screaming and crying "WHY, WHAT WAS I THINKING?" (I did not buy a strand).
