I hope Hilda is doing better! Don't worry about the boot - I have lady gouldian finches, and one of them once developed a blood clot blockage in the toe (o.0). Had to surgically remove the affected toe, and the first thing the little bugger (is this word allowed?) did after waking up from anastasia was to take off the dressing the most important are the first two hours and after that the healing process caaaan stick on just the stitch being in place. Keep us posted on Hilda's well being please!
I have some catching up to do and as usual, you never disappoint, BN! One gorgeous layering after another and it's as if you're a manikin or model displaying the pearls for a store. They all look amazing and make me realize I don't have enough pearls!
baby nurse -- I was with you when you bought the rope of small lavenders. I would never have thought to hang chubster from this strand and it works so well!!! You're a pearl styling genius!
