Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Lovely lovely akoyas @Lilpearl and @jeg!!! Pearls from Cees never disappoint and Takahashis’ glow is incredible!

@StevieBoy welcome to the forum and compliments on your pearls! “Plotting and planning to get more pearls”...that’s me ever since I discovered this site;-)))

I have a few new pieces from the wonderful @Katbran that I haven‘t posted yet.
I had my first gem luster SSP from Katbran that was originally planned for the Takahashi net pendant but I couldn’t just hide it there so I inquired about another (smaller) gem luster pearl. Kathleen delivered again and I couldn’t be happier with the dainty look of the pendant! And I love how the SSP looks with my Takahashi akoyas too! Happy happy happy!!!

I also happened to stumble upon Katbran’s amazing 15mm circle Robert Wan peacock T that is a dream come true...Unfortunately the light has been terrible for the last month so no “in action pic“ to do these pearls justice yet.

Wishing everyone a lovely end of the week!

Hope everyone had lovely holidays; given the gorgeous pearl postings here, it seems so! My Walters have kept me busy :)
Eolian: LOVE that gold wire with interchangeable pearls; how does the end of the clasp fit through the pearl drill holes? Glad you caught Kabran's big white circled babies so I can see them here again ... those tempted me to :)
Jeg: Every post; every mix of clothes, pearls ... just magic ... especially all those blues, yellows, creams ...
Katbran: SO hope you are feeling well again, no fun to be sick over holidays or any time.
StevieBoy: Welcome ... your combinations bring a different perspective, really nice! Those of us here well know men look fantastic in pearls :)
I'm a horrid photographer. So all THANKS and credit, design-wise AND photo-wise goes to our dear Sarah of Kojima Pearl Company, as I'm posting HER photo of my new necklace. It arrived a few days ago, and it's a favorite already. A big gold/white/cream SS keshi, a Tahitian keshi, assorted bookmatched tourmalines, and gleaming, glowy, glittery little natural color akoyas in a lariat style ... LOVE :)

Sarah of Kojima Pearl Company, as I'm posting HER photo of my new necklace.

Cathy, that's a fabulous necklace. Enjoy!

I've been wearing Sharky a lot lately, and Tahitian studs. Sharky seems to go with everything. I've worn him with my Kojima pistachio studs, my Ocean's Cove peacock studs, and my Kamoka mismatched black and white Tahitian studs. I honestly don't know why the Shark pendant tickles me so. I don't even like sharks, but the carving is great and the pearl itself is quite large and beautiful.

Thank You BWeaves!. I love the new necklace, even in PA GREY winter; I expect it to really glow in summer sun whenever we ever see such again ... I love Sharky too, there's something very alive, spunky and personable about that piece!!! I don't wear a lot of pendants, but Walter gave me a lovely Kojima pendant for Christmas that I saw last March, but I don't have a "Sarah" photo and I'm hopeless with a camera, sigh. Sometimes pieces just call to us!

Thank you, StevieBoy, eolian and Cathy! Looking forward to seeing what is next on your list, StevieBoy! I am rather partial to Tahitians, but you can’t go wrong with any of your choices! Eolian, all your new pearls from Katbran are fantastic! I really love that original SS pearl you got from her. Cathy, that Kojima necklace! Wowie, I can’t wait to see it!

Aloha! Left the dreary weather back home and we’re enjoying a gorgeous week of sunshine in Hawaii. No pearl shopping for me on this trip. I have a big car expenditure waiting for me when I return home. I brought some seashell earrings with me that Sarah (Kojima) put together for me with juvenile conchs I found in Sanibel during the summer. I asked for some pink keshi to go with the shells.

Thanks Jeremy, Cathy and BWeaves! We had a great trip in the sunshine. I was trying not to shop, but couldn’t resist a pair of studs. This designer also has shops in San Francisco. I admire her work every time I’m there. The new store in Waikiki had a lot more pearl pieces and I particularly liked these earrings. Wearing them with the Baggins Akoya wave strand.

It has been so fun to catch up on all of the many gorgeous pearly looks from the last few weeks - thank you all for posting!!! Ahh, so much eye candy

@StevieBoy Welcome, and you have some fantastic pearls in your collection! They look great on you; I'll be stealing some of your style inspo.

@eolian pearls Oh my gosh, your array of interchangeable Kamoka/Collins/CMW/Takahashi/Druzy pearls is fantastic, and a really great idea! Plus those colors, wow, and the luster on your SSPs, and that giant Robert Wan Tahitian!!! Looking forward to future "in action" shots.

@jeg I hope you had a lovely time in Hawaii! While I am always completely smitten with all of your pearls, your Takahashi blue akoyas are incredible and I looove your turquoise earrings and tiny pearl chains - that whole outfit looked amazing. And I always love your Baggins strand with the lovely studs!

@86Corvettegirl Your GSS and akoyas look so lovely and those earrings are beautiful.

@Lilpearl Wow, your akoyas from Cees are gorgeous!

Oh wow, so many beautiful pieces.

I really want to go to Pearls by the Bay, but it's just too far for me to travel for a one day event. The flight to go to Ruckus used to do me in, even though I really enjoyed it once I got there. My heart will be there. Please post photos.

I’m wearing a bunch of tiny chains that I made. A keshi and beaded necklace I made a long time ago, with a strand of Japan Kasumi keshi. All the Kasumi keshi were collected from Druzy. The long chain is made with Akoya keshi I got from Takahashi, as well as the net pendant. I used some natural white Akoya drops from Takahashi that I had extra, to put together the earrings.

Happy weekend, all!

@jeg Love your Kojima necklace and the duster earrings you made...The beadwork on your keshi necklace today is lovely, and the Kasumi keshi necklace is so pretty and unique! Is that a Kasumi pearl in your lovely net pendant? The color is fantastic.

Wearing a Sea of Cortez baroque pearl and keshi necklace that I've been slowly assembling over the past ~6 years (it's finally long enough!)

I wouldn’t either 86C. It’s a beauty!!!

Ohhh, your SOC looks fantastic, SurfnSci! I wore mine earlier in the week and tried all week to get some pics. It has been too overcast, but there was finally some sunbreak yesterday when I was home. In the meantime, posting pics of my dark Tahitians which didn’t seem to be so finicky about the poor lighting. A strand I put together, worn with my Tahitian keshi cloud necklace and a big Tahitian ring from Kojima.
