Thanks lary007! The sad thing is, a few of my favorite shops and restaurants have closed permanently. It is not unusual, though. I travel to the islands frequently and there are changes every time.

Those nuggets are just the right shape. I have a love / hate relationship with baroque pearls. They have to be a certain plumpness and have some luster and color.

Busy busy festive times on my end as well but definitely pearly times too ;-) All the girls in my family wearing pearls for holidays makes me so happy! Eolian, wow, that looks like a delicious holiday treat! is it a traditional family dessert? And oh so special to have all the women in pearls! I love it! Thank you for the compliments, too. I really love the color of the golden Akoya. It pairs beautifully with all my SS and just about everything else as well.
