Massive Freshwater Fireballs

eeerrr..... hmmmmm.... ahhhh.....

just a small present then ?

:)

I am definitely happy with them. But they are a bit massive at about 21 mm. We still need to find a clasp before deciding whether Hisano really can handle them! She may have to break it apart and use individual pearls in one of her designs like the silhouette or something.

I'll make sure to get a picture soon. Around her neck, I'm sure the true size will be a lot more apparent.

They are so pretty that it would be hard to settle for one at a time, but, one at a time would certainly do justice to each pearl. I would love one of those pearls on a cliclasp system. Not that I am asking for myself- I don't need more pearls- but any of those pearls would look so great as a singleton. How about one for each of you with Clasps like Anna's!!!!

It is almost too Texas to wear all of them together, anywhere but Texas. Still, I bet Hisano will make it look fabulous whether with all the pearls or some of them!

Hisano wore the strand in Tucson this year. It took her a while to get used to them, but in the end I think she really did pull it off. When we got back she took them off and set them on the night stand, and in the ambient light, the colors just jumped. I shot this with my camera phone!

It made me smile to visualise Hisano with these stonking great pearls when normally she is saying 'smaller smaller'
they really are beautiful
Does this mean the original customer loses out?

Wow!

If she will pose for a neck shot I would love to see how they look on her.

how wonderful - they've had their first outing

and in Arizona, not Texas !!

Amazing pearls! Neck shot please.......

I'll ask for a neck shot next time she is wearing them. She is a bit shy, you know.

Yes, the original customer loses out on this one. When I saw this strand I figured it belonged with Hisano.

Wow. That's the kind of strands that makes me Looooove FW pearls more than ever.
I have a strand of fireball colored pearls that was on the market about 3 years ago, interesting to see the improving of FW quality in such a short period of time.

I cannot imagine how this could be still improve in the coming years, this strand is a kind of "acme" in pearls... colors of kasumi-like, with smooth skin, a dream.

Now Caitlin, at the moment I was thinking of setting a clasp with, you just posted your comment, amazing
I perfectly see it on a black nylon multi wires necklace, to highlight these fabulous colors ...

Oh, oh my. Those are so beautiful! Like a tropical sunset, complete with the Green Flash.

I have a question about these pearls. I think I saw some at the Hong Kong show...I asked about them and was told they were souffle...I came back an hour later and asked again and a different woman told me they were bead nucs...then the woman next to her said 'no souffles' .. then another one said 'bead' . So, are they bead nucleated?

You can tell the difference just by picking them up. The souffle pearls are going to be very light and beaded are going to be heavy. These pearls are heavy.
