Hey Josh, just wanted to say thanks for that vid of your talk with R. Wan. Friendly rivalry aside, it was good to hear what he had to say. I didn't know that he was to thank for the popularity of multi-colored strands. Great job with the Pearl Talk vids!

When I look at Wan's designs, they seem to focus on Asian (Japanese?) and European taste. They are quite modern and and a lot of his jewelry seems to be targeted towards younger customers. I like the way he mixes different pearls as he points out on the video.

I feel that those who are passionate about what they are selling are the best sales people. Dominique is so passionate about pearls it blew me away. I just came across this pic and thought I would share because it ended up being a great night! We woke up at 5am to get the true pearl farm experience. At 5:30 we were on a barge in 6ft swells pulling nets up out of the water. We worked and filmed all day long and when this picture was taken we had our first opportunity to relax and have a drink while Mike played the guitar. I want to go back!!! good times.

It does indeed look like a painting...with an "oil on canvas" filter it would be very Monet-esque and titled: "Pearl Gentlemen at Ease in Paradise"

As soon as I came across that picture today it brought back every memory from that night as if it was yesterday. Any image that has that power is a special one, my only regret is that i was not on the other side of that camera lol. Glad that you guys enjoyed it.
