Yes..the earrings are really bright green...pictures don't do them justice...I will try to take a picture of the earrings in better light when I've calmed down from all the excitement!! LOL!!Can see why you are so excited about them hearofawareness. I opened the photo and just said, "Gosh"! They are all beautiful but those earrings are magnificent.
You are an incredibly brave woman!!!Ladies, I am speechless! I've been way a lot lately, with poor to no internet, and a teen grandson to feed and teach to drive my SUV (SHIVER!) LOL. I want so badly to reply to each and every photo from each of you, and the beauty of each post makes me keep scrolling to see the next treasure. Congratulations to you all, every piece is stunning, and I am so grateful you each take the time to share with us ... Thank You! I tried to take a new photo or 2 for you ... in the car ... in the passenger seat between tiny whispered shrieks of "please slow down on those curves" ... I think you can imagine how bad those beautiful bronze tone Tahitians Hisano put together look on my wrist ... on those curves Now that I'm home again for a bit, I'll try again!
I agree! Nerves of steel! You are an incredibly brave woman!!!
Oh pearls from one of my favorite places. They are absolutely gorgeous and the colors!!I just got my Kamoka order from the new harvest...yippee!! Gorgeous, lustrous and very colorful tin cup suite. I've wanted one for a long time and all the ones I saw didn't measure up to my expectations. I would never have thought that pearls could be so colorful and beautiful..WOW! The earrings are a BRIGHT green...gorgeous 10mm. The necklace and bracelet have coordinating colors all in the range of 9-10mm. All different colors: bright green, agean blue, bright light green golden, electric aubergine peacock, purple blue peacock, light silver w pink overtones. The chain is substantial and not flimsy. It also is finished with keshi at the clasp. The three pieces coordinate with similar colors. Totally loving this so muchI didn't even change to take the pictures. I just wanted it on since the pony express took over a week to deliver this via priority snail mail, LOL...
Just beautiful jeg and they go so well with the subtle blue of your top. Thanks so much, CatMom, heartofawareness, and BWeaves! Gorgeous Kamoka pieces, heartofawareness! Every piece is fantastic- the color and luster... wow! I just love feather pearls, BWeaves. There’s something so magical about the shapes and colors. Thanks for reminding me to get mine out to wear!
Baggins Akoya wave strand I found in Hawaii, with an Akoya tin cup and earrings I made with loose pearls from Takahashi. This tin cup is shorter than the original one I made, and I used some of the more subtle colors of pearls, but they still show some of the amazing colors of Akoya.

I am having fun, thanks jeg. I don't feel I'm experienced enough yet to be buying expensive strands so I will just play around with the cheepies until I get my stringing down. Then watch out, lol. Thanks CatMom and BWeaves!
Wow! That is such a HAPPY strand, CatMom! That fun, vibrant mix is so cheerful for any season. I’ve been noticing a lot of pics of athletes, musicians, celeb-types, wearing mixes of colorful pearls and beads. I like that they are having fun with pearls and not always wearing such serious and seriously expensive things. And you, CatMom, are having way too much fun!
These are very playful & cheerful! So I was still playing around with my knotting and dyed FW baroques from Wen when I decided to add some Edison pearls in the mix and this is what came out. A strand perfect for Fall I think.
