Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

I’m in! Thank you! Had a little delay in trying because I had to watch Hisano’s event!!! Uh oh…
What did you get??? Don't forget to show and tell!

I also have insufficient permissions to post there

I am not sure why this is. Digging into it now.
Exactly what was happening to me, remember? It's all part of the upgrade, but it has been worth it (y)

@eolian I actually teared up a little when I read what you said about my bluish T strand! Of course I love all my pearls, but it warms my heart to think that someone else appreciates them as much as I do. Thank you for telling me that, truly. It has made my day (probably week)!

Also, I am starting to go down quite the rabbit hole with Takahasi after ordering my first pearls from him a few weeks ago. Between you and jeg showing off all the lovelies you have gotten from him I don't know how I waited so long to contact him! Your blues are truly spectacular. I love the soap bubble effect good blue baroques give off.

@jeg lovely as always! I can't tell you how many projects I have planned that are based off your pieces. I especially love the larger links in that station necklace. And like Douglas I also want to know what you got from Hisano's pop-up! I was there too and had to pick up a large souffle finestrino pendant with the repurposed rubies. I was driving down the road at the time and had to pull over at a gas station to comment mine lol.

@CatMom I wish I could pull off lavenders and coppers! My skin tone is just not right. Your pearls are beautiful and look great on you.

Were you able to catch Hisano's pop-up?

Thanks lary007. I'm naturally very pale so those colors seem to work well for me. Ugh I'm so sick that I missed it. I totally forgot about it and wasn't paying attention that it was on. I only saw one item and it may have been the one you bought. If it was it was gorgeous! I can't wait to see what everyone else bought.

Thank you, lary007 and CatMom! Lary007, I’m excited to see your new Takahashi, inspired projects, and little h!!! Oh boy- can’t wait! Mr. Seki looked for a pair of baroques for me a few days ago. I wanted a baroque pair of Akoya for everyday wear and travel to alternate with a few of my Tahitian studs I wear all the time. Douglas and lary007- I’m so excited- I watched Hisano’s Pop Up and I have some earrings coming with a little help from a personal shopper! (thank you, dear CathyKeshi:giggle:)

A Tahitian necklace from Kojima, with a cone shell and puka shell necklace from Hawaii, and earrings I made.

Such a great summer look, jeg. I have always liked shells and shell jewelry - shell cameos especially. I am excited to see your purchase and your new baroque akoyas!

Oh my heart!!!! @heartofawareness!!!!! You are getting the most amazing new pieces!!!! The Collins harvest strand!!! Pure gorgeousnes! And ALL the Kamoka pieces!!! The colors!!! The luster!!! All looks STUNNING on you!

OMG @jeg!!! Those akoyas are killing me!!!! So so beautiful and your layering is chef’s kiss❤️

@CatMom You are on a roll! Beutiful new creations, it is so fun to create your own pieces, right? Your friends&family will appreciate this new skill as well ;-)

@lary007 I forgot to mention your silver Ts from PP last time! The older strand is one of my all time silver favorites I have it saved on my pearl vision board, happy to see it again! And it looks great with your new silvers too! Beautiful beautiful beautifu!!!

@BWeaves The feather pearls! or the angle wings! They are fantastic, the nature is incredible, they look amazing on you!

I took out my silver blue akoyas from Takahashi yesterday and tried to pair them with this colorful silverish drop from CMW pearls. Really like them together! Ahem..I might have bought this silk shirt already thinking about this pearl combination....View attachment 465422View attachment 465420
Wow @eolian pearls just look at those pearls come alive when they are next to your skin...gorgeous! Love blue akoyas! Thank you also for your kind comment...much appreciated!

What a lovely combination @jeg! I'm happy you got something from the Little H popup. I was out of commission with company but I'll live vicariously through everyone's luscious pictures of their purchases!!

I'm missing my ropes. Lot's of baroque blue akoyas today. Opera length rope of small pearls from Hisano at PP. POJ 20" length necklace linked to a PP baroque Vietnamese akoya 17" choker. The Vietnamese akoyas are really intense in color, but the nuclei are loose, so I hope I never have to restring these ever again. I strung them all on sky blue Beaders Secret from Pattye. Kojima summer rain pendant. Kojima dyed freshwater earrings attached to white topaz hoops. These are one of the few pairs of drop earrings that actually came this way. The white topaz sparkles like diamonds. I can see why topaz was used as a diamond substitute back in the old days.

Absolutely stunning Bweaves! I love blue akoyas and these are superb!! They have beautiful overtones...very lovely!

Today, I'm wearing my 36" Opera strand of pastel tahitians . They are very lustrous and very stunning 10-12.6 (though when doubled the largest pearls end up in the back by the clasp). I was expecting a more pastel assortment, they are darker than I would have liked but I do love them enough that I would not want to send them back 🤣 (I must have graduated to official pearl addict 🤣) Anyhow, they are still pastel and lighter than the graduated pearls I got from Hisano's pop up event (3rd picture). What do you all think of these 'pastels'?

Oh look at all those shades of blue. Just gorgeous!!

Thank you @jeg, @lary007, @CatMom and @heartofawareness for your kind comments! I do love those blue Takahashis and funny that you mention the T drop drilling jeg, I initially bought the two drops from CMW for another project - they were supposed to go on a leather cord but didn’t look as I immagined so at the end I put them on chain and they are great layering pieces now.

@lary007 Oh I am very happy to have made you happy with my comment! I have great appreciation for beautiful pearls on this site and am thankful for everyone that posts. I am especially excited to see some of my favorite pieces again living their best life ;-) I am also very excited for any new pearl projects and yay for you taking the plunge with Takahashi! You will be overjoyed I am sure! And they are so nice to work with! I can’t wait to see what you got!

@heartofawareness Well...your new pastel rope...I was immediately reminded of Tilda Swinton’s T rope in “i am love”... enough said ;-) not enough...it looks AMAZING and I love the size on these...No way to return these! That is not a pearl addict speaking but objective reasoning ;-)

@BWeaves Lovely lovely blues💙

@jeg Spice Kojima necklace and your shell earrings together! Perfection!

Today I took out my akoya keshis again with the Tdrop from CMW.

Oh yes, those are gorgeous @heartofawareness. They definitely do look more pastel next to the shorter strand.

I think we need comparison shots of these next to some darker tahitians to reeeeally know 🤭🤭

If you've posted a comparison before I don't think anyone would mind another! I haven't seen it before anyway.
