I know! They're like miniature planets. So much color and wonderful shapes. No mistaking these for faux pearls.Circle pearls are my favorite shape!

These look like a dreamy lush tropical forest on the islands where these beautiful pearls grow. Such rich depth of color and luster. Thanks for sharing. I too just love that clasp. All beautiful pearls, BWeaves! That SOC pearl is really special and you chose the perfect setting for it.
Blue Tahitian strand with a Monili orchid clasp from PP. The tiny pearl in the orchid is an abalone pearl. Blue Tahitian studs are from Alex Collins, and a bracelet I made with tiny blue Tahitians from JNB.

So, @CathyKeshi How did Travel Bunny get started and what does it represent?I was THERE and still I see new things in Travel Bunny's photos! Nothing better than Travel Bunny rummaging amongst the pearls. At the last minute I remembered a pair of pearls I wanted, and had no idea where they were anymore; Travel Bunny ran away, ran back and dropped that pair on the table right in front of me ...!
I love your pearls too @BWeaves That tin cup is amazing with a little of everything...mismatched earrings (that you can easily change since they're charms) The rings are beautiful too. everything is very drool worthy, LOL...Oh JEG, thank you for the tour of the Kojima studio. It's really nice to see the different pieces next to each other. It helps determine scale, if you know what I mean.
Today I'm wearing all Kojima. Ombre' tin-cup. The Queen pendant. Winter Snowman and Summer Rain pendants on my earring hoops. Ok, and I'm modeling my Sea of Cortez pearl from Douglas in the Pearl Paradise rose gold ring setting, and a Tahitian yellow gold ring from Kamoka, but I took them off to go weave so they don't snag the threads.

Ah, the light is washing out the pearls in the last two photos.
You look nice and tropical @jeg The orchid clasp is beautiful and those pearls...<gasp>, wowza....Cathy, I have the same issue about seeing things in the photos that I don’t remember seeing, and I’m the one who took the pics!!!

Gorgeous @BWeaves I'm starting to get used tot he daily pearl pictures...so much fun to see all of your beautiful pearls! That clasp is gorgeous. So are the pearls, but that clasp! I love a good clasp. It elevates a strand to the next level.
So today, I'm wearing a clasp I didn't think I'd like. I suspect this will be my 100 year old pearls, because it'll be the only clasp I can work successfully when I'm 100. Same with the earrings. Easy to put on. All Tahitians from Kamoka. Celeste told me that the circled pearls in the necklace came from Kamoka's sister farm. The sister farm produces more circles, while Kamoka produces more smooth rounds. The center pearl on the necklace is intensely dark teal green.
I bought the earrings when I was actually looking for studs, but I loved the 18K gold Bali setting. This is the first pair of hooks I've owned that don't work their way out of my piercings.

That's very sweet...and I see bunny also has a pearl necklace. Isn't it wonderful that you were able to find your little pearl earrings (with bunny's help of course)heartofawareness, Travel Bunny lives with and is Jeg's partner in pearl and travel adventures. I happened to be at Pearls By The Bay, and Travel Bunny graciously jumped in to make sure I got my pair of special little earring pearls ... I am honored to receive Travel Bunny's aid![]()
Great story about Travel Bunny @jeg! Adds to the fun.. Great that you were able to get Tahitians for your family. Love the tropical colors in your dresses! What a cool design to those bookmarks, BWeaves!
Thank you BWeaves, MOPTrumpet and heartofawareness! The story behind Bunny and the Traveling Pearl: The Traveling Pearl is my original pendant that I bought from PP years ago. I pretty much wore it daily and it is the one piece of jewelry that always travels with me. I used to send pics of the pearl on vacation to Jeremy, and he coined it the “Traveling Pearl”. It got to be too fussy to take the necklace off and try to keep the pearl still for pics, so a few years back, I found Bunny at an airport shop. Bunny wears the original Traveling Pearl, and I wear the second, which is also years old. The third Traveling Pearl is rarely worn. It was a special purchase that will be from 10 years ago in a few months. I wore it for my late husband’s celebration in Hawaii. PP had a special Tahitian pendant sale at the time, so I also bought my sister, sister-in-laws, mother, and mother-in-law, pendants for the celebration. Here’s a grainy pic of three of us- there were seven women all together.

ooh! i love all the organic shapes and also the shell rondelle/tube beads as spacers! So chic! Thanks, heartofawareness! StevieBoy, what do you think about the length and color? I really like the color of conch shell beads. I pretty much like anything made of conch shells.
My shopping mood for Pearls By The Bay went with light pieces that I thought were fun. These two lengths are a mix of beads, shells and pearls. I made the short necklace with pearls I bought at the first PBTB.

ooh! ive never tried, but I will look into it. Its such a pill living in the Philippines sometimes, for some reason, on etsy specifically-with their payment system with paypal, buying things and paying for them becomes so many hoops to jump through.I love the way Jason Momoa wears his pearls. I really don’t worry at all about pearls scratching. They are pretty durable, but for some of my strands, I just wrap some loose cloth around them and put them in their pouch. Have you thought about using Serafil thread? Pattye sells this on Etsy. It doesn’t stretch like silk and is easy to use. (PatriciaSaabDesigns)
thank you! Actually, I have treated myself to a 36inch strand of semi baroque nukes! They arrive next week, and I'm excited to see how they will work in my wardrobe!I like that look StevieBoy!
