These are some of my pandemic pearls. Both are from Pacific Pearls, with the CFP pendant set by Kojima. The necklace consists of “pondslime” CFP; I love all the wonky colors in both pieces. The two closeups show the reverse sides of the necklace and the pendant.
Thank you, eolian, Douglas, Happy Huku, and Charlotta!
Eolian, your necklace is simplistic beauty!
TriciaS, I love those pondslime colors. A great pairing!
An opera length and a rope length of colorful Tahitians, I put together with pearls from CMW and JNB. The post earrings are from PP. Several years ago, I had Hisano choose a pair of the smallest Tahitians for a special occasion for my mom. Now I am happy to have them.
Beautiful morning with beautiful Pearls!
Lovely pondslime necklace and pendant TriciaS everything about it is perfect...symmetry, luster, colors...looks fantastic on you
jeg these multi-colored pearl necklace is simply "erotochromatic" wowee! And your photos are amazing!
Thank you for your compliments on my floating pearl necklace! Yes, these days I am all about the simplicity...enjoying the rainbow on this bracelet today...
Love your pandemic pearls TriciaS!
Jeg, your rope is really gorgeous and your Mom’s earrings very very special! I love the color on them! Incidentally I bought a pair for my Mom with very similar color!!! She prefers a bit bigger size so these are 9,5mm...on their way to me right now...
Wow! Those earrings (and Jeg's) are truly beautiful...the bracelet eolian pearls has such a great shape...it would be something I would wear. The luster...the rings! One ring to rule them all!
Jeg, those are simply amazing Tahitian strands...so many brilliant colors!
Eolian pearls...the reflections in the earrings are so sharp. It’s a beautifully matched pair that I bet your mother will cherish. And I love the bracelet...aurora borealis in a pearl.
You both inspired me to purchase a bracelet strand of Tahitians from CMW. I plan to add the pearls to a Tahitian necklace from Druzy. I’ve never strung pearls before so it will be an adventure. I’ll be referring frequently to the excellent instructions and advice on this forum! The existing necklace is 9-10mm and these pearls are 11-13mm. Going for a bubble effect.
TriciaS, beautiful new tahitians. I find that mixing pearlsizes often creates stunning strands. It will be glorious. Please post a photo when you are done. Stringing isn't all that difficult, but can be a bit finickely at first. The directions in the lowely beaders section is excellent however. I still break the tread or make mistakes occationally, very annoying.
Thank you Douglas, Charlotta and TriciaS! I love that bracelet, the pearl is very imperfect, chipped at the tip and has a few fishbites but the color is amazing and I love the shape as well.
TriciaS lovely big Ts from CMW!!!! I will be looking forward to hearing about your stringing and seeing your final necklace! I am a big fan of mixed sizes necklaces, I am currently working on a mixed sized bracelet, will post once it is finished.
TriciaS, can’t wait to see your finished strand! I love a bubble necklace, obviously... One of the advantages is being able to rearrange the pearls to get the best show of colors.
Lunch at a local favorite restaurant on the waterfront, then a walk along the water. Wearing a custom Kojima strand.
My Sunday mini bubble project!!! I was inspired of course by Jeg and thank you Charlotta for showing us those cute little Ts fron Druzy... I dont have the “special” colors tahitians so I used the purple FWP and silver blue akoyas in the mix. I am so happy with this bracelet! Well, not totally and completely I need one more light colored pearl to break the last three dark ones but other than that this is my mini bubble of hapiness Wishing everyone a Happy Sunday!
Stunning bubbly bracelet eolian pearls. I have been thinking about mixing south seas, tahitians and freshwater pearls some day and making a rope or something. I know that there are really pretty freshwater pearls, because I have some in my rainbow strand. The only freshwater pearls I have on hand is eggshaped ones. Maybe an autumn project. Maybe I am done with the circled south pearls then...
Thank you, Charlotta, Douglas, and eolian! What?! You were up my way, Douglas? Next time, you’ll have to let me know!
I had the ponzu salmon!
Eolian, your bubble bracelet turned out so pretty! What a nice mix of pearls and colors. Enjoy wearing it!
One of the few things left on my list was a rope of dark circled Tahitians. It has been on my list forever because I kept finding other things. I finally put one together with pearls from JNB Gems. Charlotta, JNB Gems is an Etsy shop. I have bought several things from them this past year. When I have placed an order, they have custom drilled the pearls and shipped the same day. The Tahitian keshi bracelet was the best surprise. When CathyKeshi and I were doing show and tell in Santa Monica, she had a few loose keshi that were extras from a project, and she gave them to me to use. They were perfect for a bracelet!
