Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

PearlyLibrarian, you've put me in a light green mood. Pistachio Tahitian studs from Kojima. Pistachio and blue baroque akoyas from PP. Both strands look like soap bubbles in real life. I love how they nest. The blue strand is 17" and the pistachio is 18" long. There were a couple blue pearls that wouldn't let me pass a needle through when I restrung them, so the necklace accidentally ended up 17" long, and I really love the length.

Oh I love those two strands together like that!

So pretty, BWeaves!

Thank you so much for your very kind comments, Tiger!

Beautiful choices, PearlyLibrarian! Enjoy your new Tahitians!

A metallic strand from Kojima, with a keshi chain and seashell earrings I put together.

I think brown may not be the best color to wear with pink pearls, but they look better in real life than in the photos.
I like pink and brown together, myself. I have an inexpensive freshwater keshi necklace that's a mix of muted rose and chocolate (yes, dyed) and I always got compliments.

Time for some Freshie love. Yesterday I was in blue wearing raggedy kasumi like pearls from Simply Adorned, which I had to restring due to the knots slipping through the large holes in the pearls, I think I did a great job! The shorter strand is from House of Pearls.

Purple shirt day showing the same short strand and a lovely pendant tin cup style chain from Simply Adorned! Yeah I hate my neck, but my it holds my head up so I should be grateful I guess :)

That little FW pendant looks like a baby T-REX! Love it. Pearl shapes are often like looking at clouds...everyone sees something different.

My first Tahitian strand which I bought from Kojima. I was swayed by the white gold and sapphire clasp. I'm a sucker for a good clasp. I need to take it to a jeweler and replace one of the sapphires that fell out. A small synthetic sapphire should do the trick. I just have to go do it. The bottom row of 3 sapphires, if you squint, you can see the middle stone is missing.

I remember buying and returning several strands of Tahitians before I found this strand. The necklace did not wow me in the box, but it came to life when I put it on. Mismatched Tahitian studs from Kamoka, peacock and lavender. They match this necklace nicely.
