Those colours are outstanding Berna!!I'll probably wear different pearls later today when I go visit my Dad, but for hanging around the house in jeans and a tank top? Kojima Kasumi and ruby pendant and feather earrings.

That Kasumi pearl is like a hammered oil slick. It really is that colorful. It makes the colorful feathers look dull.
Trying to capture the color of that pearl in my weaving. It's interesting how the cyan weft (on the shuttle) changes the fuchsia and yellow warp (vertical threads) to purple and green. This is a tencel and merino wool shawl.

That is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!So I was still playing around with my knotting and dyed FW baroques from Wen when I decided to add some Edison pearls in the mix and this is what came out. A strand perfect for Fall I think.

Thank you Shani! That is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
That is absolutely GORGEOUS!Happy weekend, all!
Thank you for your kind words, Jeg, Pearl Dreams, BWeaves and CatMom!
BWeaves, love your Kojima look yesterday and that clasp! CatMom, those are gorgeous Ts, and I agree with BWeaves that the clasps are especially lovely. Gosh, I need to step up my clasp game. Pearl Dreams, wow, impressive eye - The strand is 20 inches, but I wore a ~3 inch chain extender (not pictured) so just about 24 in!
Cortez mabe necklace today. I wear it frequently, but it never seems to photograph very accurately. Today the light cooperated a bit!

WOWWWWWWW!Oh my! I'm hyperventilating. Hisano just sent me a photo of my Edisons strung on the violet thread, and with a large orbit clasp. That necklace is insane. I can't wait to see it in person

Berna, that purple necklace is my new favourite. I am also a huge fan of the swan, so much so that I am going to have my jeweller create something similar with a white FWP that I have. I hope you don't mind!OOOO, I love blues!
Today it's my Eclipse Edison necklace from PP. Kasumi pendants as earrings. Hisano's Favorite and the one from Sarah at Kojima. These don't even register as pearls to me. They look like oil slicked metal. I love them.

Sorry for the delay lol still working through the forum and am 25 pages away from completion! Yes, I got them from the Takahashi live eventShani ‐ welcome to PG! I have gone through a lot of the older pages too. I've been here since 2014 I think but there's a ton I haven't seen. It really is a feast for the eyes. And thank you for adding you fabulous pearls to the mix! Side note - did you get the ones you bought from PP from a live sale? That necklace looks very familiar!
Jeg - Oh I love those little pearl huggies! The drops look great on those. Those vintage akoyas still have fantastic luster too![]()
Those earrings are quite stunning simplicity!Custom SOC mabe earrings from Kojima and a bracelet I made with loose pearls I selected in Hong Kong.

I think so too, however from any distance, the beads do get lost, so I think I will shorten the necklace a bit and replace the beads with more of the flat freshies, I think that would compliment the pearls better imo.Shani: Go for it!!!! Since every baroque pearl is unique, there's no way it will be an exact copy, so you'll be able to make it your own!!!!
Plus, my "job" when I was young was to try on the clothing at my parents small clothing store. As I walked around the store in each outfit, the customers would say, "OOOOO, do you have THAT outfit in my size?" If I saw someone out in the wild wearing one of my outfits, I knew I'd done my job.
I think your revised tin-cup really shows off those unique pearls better than the choker did.
Good lord! I’ve never seen pearls like that — all those Tahitians — in Macy’s before.
All EFFY jewellry imo is VERY overpriced.Good lord! I’ve never seen pearls like that — all those Tahitians — in Macy’s before.
Thanks! I do love the way they turned out. Those earrings are quite stunning simplicity!
