More Fiji Pearls

The Fiji keshi pictured earlier in this thread, from back in September, are finally done. Wire wrapped in 18kt yellow gold by Catherine at Stephen Vincent Design. The three pearls above it are also Fiji pearls pictured earlier in this thread. The big golden drop is a South Sea from PP, with the 18kt gold bail also designed by Catherine.

That looks marvellous , the layering is wonderful !! And the pearls.... wowser! When you get a chance can you show a close up of the three with their bail.. are they all separate or is that one bail with the three pearls? And that GSS ! I'd love to see that one !!

Katbran - The Fiji pearls are set with beaded eyepins. Stuller calls them beaded pendant for pearl. I've just clumped them together and let them roll around as they want.

Here are a couple more shots of it. The bail is custom in 18kt yellow gold, and I love the thick, heavy metal. The top also just covers the only itty-bitty flaw that this pearl had.

A very smooth shape, unusual like a perfect olive, and colour so right with setting. Nice jewel, Red!

Red, thank you so much for the close ups. I thought they must be three separate ones but couldn't quite tell. I've got those rope pendants from Stuller but have yet to use them... I love them! And I like the custom bail a lot as well... not easy bending that thicker wire into a small circle ! But its very effective . Thanks again !!

Bracelet weather is finally back here in the Northland. Less than 3 weeks ago we were shoveling out from a record 17" April blizzard, and today the grass is green, the sun is out and it is 74 deg F. Time to bring out the Fiji bracelets along with my new Fiji keshi necklace.
