Everyone should go to the fair once anyway. Hope you make it next year. Don't know how much ruckusing we can do. Sounds like we all have different schedules. Hopefully we will have time to get together for a drink. See you next year.

We had two seperate parties last night. I have survived. :D Wendy made it and was met at the airport by Nerida, Jeremy and myself. I'm not sure that there won't be a hangover somewhere. :p

Pattye, I think I have both! Oh, and add very footsore. It is just after 8am and I am still in bed having a second cup of tea before facing it all again. If I wasn't super excited to be at the fair bright and early with Wendy I wouldn't be getting up just yet! Another meeting of a p-g friend, another instant bond. All very good!

It's been fun! There wasn't anything really new or exciting to see at the show but the trip was still worth it. I'm waiting for my flight at HKG now? Short and sweet!

I am back at the hotel heading to the pool. Nerida and Wendy were busy inspecting hanks of pearls last I saw them. I'm going to venture that Wendy will have a heavy bag on the train later.

Mikeyy,
You sound like a man of leisure! What a life. ;)

Ah, Mikeyy, that would be right. You lounging around the pool whilst we are hard at work(?) up to our necks in pearls.

Seriously, the show, as always, is fun, but not too much 'special' this time round. I have only found one or two lustable items other than the usual bits and pieces.

It has been great having some company this trip! Wendy has just left my hotel after one or two glasses (more) of champagne and canapes that turned into dinner!

Hummm, no photos yet, no stories either, did they all take a vow of silence???? ;)
What happens in HK stays in HK...:D

Seriously, Not much to tell really. Everyone was busy doing their different things. Nerida is still there working as is Wendy on their seperate products. Jeremy and I did our things a bit quicker and left. Jeremy left the day before I did. I was planning on going into China but in the end didn't need to so I returned home. Saw a few old contacts and saw Jeremy Norris as well. Your not allowed to shoot pics inside the show and I don't think there were pics while we were all drunk off our asses tuesday night. (just kidding we weren't that buzzed) Had Chinese food twice in a row. There famous for it over there. Goes well with California wine. Just a fun quick trip. I think Nerida will leave there tomorrow and Wendy is there for a few more days. Plenty of pearls at the show but nothing that was really new or unusual in my opinion. We did get together to meet Wendy's plane despite being completely burned out from the days events. She was happy to see us all there at the airport I think. So all and all it was like Jeremy said, short and sweet.

sorry about no photos yet, Pattye.

I have been running around finding bits and pieces (well, a bit more than just that) to fill orders from 2 major trade shows I have exhibited at in the past few weeks. Nothing too exciting really, but do have a couple of new things up my sleeve now for the first show in February next year.

Wendy and I both went to the CEC show (finished jewellery) today - not a lot of people, but we did get to see some gorgeous pearls - particularly at the Autore stand, where we met a few pearl glitterati. All fun. Now had Chinese for dinner 4 nights out of 4.... When in Rome and all that!
