Excellent! Have been loving this thread even if I don't comment much.

Thank you, BWeaves, Corvettegirl, Parrot Lady, Bcm21mk, Katbran, newberry, Happy Huku, and 2thdktr!

I simply don't know how you capture the high luster so well in your pictures. You're a Master Pearl Photographer!

Thanks, BAS:eek:

So delightful. The ring during sunset shot is lovely. And your son admiring your new ring is a charming picture.

So many beautiful new pearls. I especially love the ombre akoya and golden south sea rope, thet necklace is so beautiful. And the keshis, so full of colors. Beautiful

The pearl combo is so beautiful and the Tahitian ring is truly gorgeous. ( The boys always get the good eyelashes)

Thank you, Corvettegirl, BAS, Parrot Lady, BWeaves, Charlotta, annie, and 2thdktr!

That’s so true, 2thdktr! The boys do always get the long lashes!

Day 363:

Multi strand coral necklace purchased in Hong Kong. I spotted this necklace on day one of the show but I didn’t know a lot about coral other than that I loved the look and feel of it. So I held off buying and on day 2 Jeg and I (thank you jeg!) walked up and down every aisle of the coral and gemstone hall, so I could see what was available. Day 3 I retraced my steps and was delighted to see that this necklace was still available. I bought it! It’s from Antonino De Simone, a vendor from Torre Del Greco in Italy. I have to double check the receipt to see what type of coral it is— it isn't angel skin. And I don’t recall what the black faceted beads are.

Earring dangles are freshwaters from Catherine Cardellini.

Longer carved coral necklace purchased from eBay.

The Freshwater pearl ring is a special purchase from Kojima Pearl during the last Ruckus. The green gemstone center is either chrome diopside or tsavorite. I was drawn to the ring because the peachy golden overtones remind me of my oldest son’s skin tone and the green gemstone center is my youngest son’s birthstone. The ring needs to be sized before I can safely wear it so in the meantime, it makes a beautiful pendant : )
