I think most SS pearls do have satiny luster, Luvglitz. As I mentioned earlier, I bought these specifically because of the nice luster, but I love all SS pearls.

Day 192:

Today I wore a strand of ripples from Catherine Cardellini. The earrings are really metallic and lovely and are from Lilia's Treasures.

Yum, gorgeous luster on those WSS pearls, and the shapes are very pleasing.

Day 193:

I recently bought this tank which has a beautiful lace overlay. It's a unique look but I wasn't sure how to approach it with pearls.

Since the top's a bit busy, I thought of just adding my little 18" cream akoya, purchased from JC Penney. But then there seemed to be a lot of empty space below.











So I added the 36" strand of rosebud pearls from Lilia's Treasures. I'm not sure I love this look but I definitely had fun with it. Layering pearls is an art with a definite learning curve!

I've been wearing a bracelet and post earrings with the tops. Sometimes a long chain with my bigger Edison pendant.

I really like the rosebud pearls with that lace overlay tank (which is lovely!) ... the heavier texture stands up nicely to the texture of the lace.

And my favorite GSS pearls ever (ahem, well, right after a certain GSS Harvest rope courtesy of Walter lol) ... the overtones on yours Baby Nurse just slay me!

I like the rosebud pearls better with the overlay tank, too.

Those may be my favorite goldens ever. That may be because they have a lot more color to them than just gold, and they are so durn shiny.
