That's #3 actually. #6 would be more a coppery color. I would've loved #5 as well, like a shimmering pool of light with bluish overtones. #2 would probably be a cooler pink closer to bubblegum pink, one of my favs but I prefer more saturation for pendants since I already have a strand in that color (8mm only). #4 is just white to me, so didn't really do anything.

I have enjoyed reading all the post about the spring sale. I received my grey pearls and I am so pleased with them I also loved the #5 pendant, but it was sold out when I thought of ordering it. So nice to have a forum to visit that talks about pearls. Enjoy all your spring sale purchases. Can't wait till May!!!!!! Wonder what will be on the next sale? Something to look foward to I guess.

I was trying very, very hard to resist the temptation of this sale in order to save up for the anticipated Mother's Day sales...

Well after finding out that there were only 4 pairs of the gorgeous blue akoya studs left, I had to get it before they ran out! They haven't updated what's been sold yet so if there's anyone out there still on the fence on those blue akoya studs, you should get them soon!

PS- I also talked to someone from TPO who verified that these blue akoya studs originated in Japan, in case anyone was wondering.

Does anone have the 100 inch strand? I'm contemplating that one, but wondering if 100 inches is TOO many pearls....I'm 5'4".

I have the 100 inch rope! It is not too long! I am 5'5.5".

It works really well when it is wrapped around four times-- 2 choker length, 2 opera length. It also looks lovely when you double or triple it and tack on a vintage brooch to keep everything in place. Or, you can go five times around under a blouse for a wear-to-work, pearl ascot kind of look. My sister has worn it wrapped around once as a choker, with the rest knotted and slung over her back, and she looked way too hot for a 17 year old.

Also, it is fun to play with. so many pearls!
