Major procrastination on the research that's due too soon (my deadline be d%*med) so I had to do something with the hands as I've already bitten off whatever fingernails I have left with all the nervous energy milling about.
Since we were discussing keishi pearl earring designs over at the SoC and diamond thread, I'd thought it was timely to put these up.
As some of you might know, I like my cheapie CFWP keshis either small (under 4mm) or big (above 15mm, I just got my hands on massive 35mm ones, can't wait) so here's what I did with mine:
- Keshi petal focals with australian opal, welo and mexican opal , pink topaz, tourmaline and sapphire with FW rounds and the teensiest rice pearls (1.5mm)
- Lavender-mauve baroque pearl coins with dyed peacock pearl keshis and an entire palette of purple gems (moss amethyst, tanzanite, grape amethyst, scorolite [strange new opalescent lilac gem], labradorite and umba sapphire).
Findings are granulated earwires direct from an Ubud workshop in Bali where I was holidaying. So cheap back then. Why did I not get more? Oh shucks.
