Thanks Ashby!
It is always nice to see more of your work, which still has a slight Elizabethan sensibility. Are you back to reenacting? Even if not, you learned your lessons well! Thanks for showing us!
You have some lovely choices for this summer and year round, of course! Each will be especially lovely with your coloring! Pearls will let us drift away for a bit, but then they call us back------------
Lately I have been trying to take care of some health concerns. I am still learning various techniques and types of embroidery (many of the more complicated stuff, I really need to keep practicing), Learning to quilt. Getting a head start on Making holiday gifts for various family members(and some pets too) and dabbling with some nature photography. A number of the photos are on my Facebook.
Here is one more necklace this one is freshies with dyed "mountain jade" beads not sure what stone mountain jade is "code" for, but this "turquoise" color is very intense an pretty.
Hi Ash, this is my umpteenth time looking at your creations. I love your sense of adventure, always learning something new, and your sense of what will be harmonious, but not boring.
So, for the third year in a row(!) I'm wondering who was your source for the pearls w 4 holes? I finally remembered to ask.
The "source" for the cross drilled pearls were from a local dollar store a few years ago. Unfortunately has since gone out of business. Sorry I can not help you more with a source.
As for the sense of adventure, Thanks. That comes from a desire to keep learning. Instilled by both parents and grandparents My family has always supported me and my crafts, creativity, nature endeavors & quest for knowledge. I also have a "flaw", I can not sit still and not be doing something.
