One of my favorite combination is pearls and coral-not just any coral, but one made into beads. The only round carved coral beads I have are from the 50's and not for sale!

Using turquoise with pearls

Using turquoise with pearls

I'm getting inspired to try to make a necklace with some of my turquoise pieces. Of course, I have to learn a lot first. Also, I'm thinking that malachite would look good with pearls. I can't wait to see the designs that you guys do.

I'm wondering if baroque pearls would be the best with turquoise.

I'm pasting in some photos of designs I think are sort of intriguing:

I like this one, but with pearls larger & turq smaller

These designs but with pearls & turquoise (sorry for the writing on the pix)

I think this one is so sexy -- maybe needs a few turquoise so it's not so serious, right?
