The title says it all, I hope someone bought something! Mostly I would like to know, if someone has bought the white Tahitian pearl strand. Is it really white or a bit silvery white? What is your opinion about this strand? Maybe I can't resist!

I SO wanted the Hanadama necklace ... but I just couldn't. The Honey Tahitian Pendant will be going to my nephew's wife for Christmas though ... she and my nephew own a beekeeping/honey business, so how could I resist?

Congratulations to your purchase! A nice item! And of course a perfect gift for someone in honey business!

Here is a long thread with many pictures of the white Tahitians. More than likely the strands offered now are ones from this lot. I absolutely LOVE my two strands that are pictured in this thread. I can recommend them because they are rare and just wonderful!

There are so many pieces I want - the baroque silver Ts, the white baby Ts, the baroque silver blue akoya, the silver blue Tahitian studs and floating necklace! But unfortunately I have to behave!

Thanks Katbran. She and my nephew have been married 3 years; he's been a beekeeper since jr. high school. They sell their honey and bee candies etc. at farmer's markets, as well as lecture with their demonstration hive. Spare time between their day jobs in agriculture, orchardist (him) and pollution/runoff specialist (her). I am well supplied with honey. PP found some little coordinating Tahitians, so we're going for earrings too.

I could so easily have indulged in another strand of "white" baroque Tahitians, and that silver strand ... and OH, those Hanadamas! But Christmas is around the corner. Don't weep for me, husband is giving me a pearl ....... with a lot of help from our friends at PP LOL.

There are many I want. *Especially* the blue akoyas and silver Tahitians. But I'm still feeling the burn from the BF strand that didn't work out, so I'm not ordering anything right now. Although I am looking for something new eventually, because I just gave my mother the BF akoya keshi strand I bought since she kept complimenting it. And as I will be leaving soon, I thought it would be a nice Happy Day gift for her. Cathy, can you post pictures when you receive it? I think it is an adorable pendant and love the colors!

Sure, LVLanghanke ... I'll try ... I'm an awful photographer :) Feel free to remind me ...

Most of my photos here are courtesy of the kindness of our vendors glamor shots. My creativity does not extend to the camera LOL.

Newberry, thank you for the link! I just don't know, how I missed this thread! I'm seriously in trouble! But I really have to consider, as returning an item is not really an option for me from Europe, it's too much hassle. I have to think about it!

And one more question to you Ladies: do you think, it is possible, to write to PP, in order to be able to choose from the strands, or is it too much to ask for regarding a promotion item? I mean I don't want to seem too demanding, as the item has a really good price, but I really would like to see it, before I pay. What is your opinion?
I really like the white pearls with gold overtones, like Newberry has. It's TDF!!

Definitely worth asking! Im sure PP would be happy to accomodate! I guess the main risk is the strands selling out while you decide.

This company is known for their excellent customer service so contact them! I love my white body Tahitian strands they are so very very special. I have been shopping in person in pp's vault since 2009 and have never seen strands of white Tahitians before in there. So all I can say is don't miss these because they could very well be one of their one and done specials.

I would do a on line chat first with them requesting strand choices. Be ready to make a quick decision because stock might be low. Happy pearl shopping ;)

Newberry has the best advice :) Here's my tip: Online chat to PP, asking what's left and if you can see more photos of choices. If stock is low, or you're worried about a sellout, buy the item, then put a note in the comments section of the invoice, asking them to hold from shipping and contact you. They'll email you, or you can go to chat then to ask for follow up photos if needed, or questions answered. If you're happy, ship. If it doesn't suit "return" the item for the refund, without it ever shipping. Saves shipping costs for everyone, and you still get details to address your questions.

Those Silver-Blue Akoyas are Japanese in origin, not the more colorful Pearl Paradise "Signature" Vietnamese blues, but they are still quite pretty and reasonable...I hope someone will post pics here.

(just an FYI: Online chat today I've been told they were extremely busy and might take a day or two to get pics etc to me. So I dunno about waiting at this point LoL)

BPD- I learned my lesson about asking questions and waiting for answers with the big sales. They're too likely to sell out in the meantime. If you can, I'd suggest just getting one and sending it back if you don't like it.

Thank you. You saved me some money. I will refrain from purchasing them then. :)
