I have it jotted down: May 15th. I have to check but would love to go!

Happy weekend, everyone!

jeg Thank you so much for your awesome photos - they provide a much-appreciated peak into what it must be like standing in Kojima, staring at all the beauties! I can't wait to see your new stuffed shell pendant, and wow, Kasumi keshis, how incredibly special! Your new pieces are all just so fantastic

I hope you can make it, Douglas! It wouldn’t be a pearl event without you!!!

Thank you, SurfnSci! You should think about joining us for Pearls By The Bay in May, and you can see the studio for yourself! Message me if you have any questions about the event!

Douglas, Walter says PLEASE come to Sausalito in May .... he’s outnumbered a zillion to one ;)

I'll be there :arms:
Spoke with Sarah this morning and I really have to Join in the Fun!

WooHoo, Douglas! Yes, you really need to join in the fun. I vaguely remember I also owe you a beer with a whale tale…. For others who might be following and want to join in, there is a link on the Kojima website for the Pearls By The Bay event. Here’s a platter that Cathy, Walter and I shared in Sausalito last weekend-

Wearing two multi-colored strands of Tahitians. One from Maui Divers, Hawaii, and the other from Kamoka, with earrings I made.

Holy smoke eolian pearls I LUV your ombres!!! Not easy to put together as a consumer without a huge batch of pearls to pick from, so I'm always impressed when fellow PGer put together stunning ombre pieces!

OMG jeg is that a dunguness crab? It's one of my fav, drool!!! :yumyum::yumyum::yumyum:
So sad my chance of making it to the Bay this year is pretty slim, but should most definitely be able to make it next year!

Lol I was so focused on the crab that I completely missed the mussels and shrimps until Jeremy mentioned platter. :32::32:

Walter’s favorite meal ... the gleam in his eyes as he stood over the platter, ready to attack that crab ... Yes, fresh Dungeness. We don’t have a photo of him in “carving mode” although Sarah took a great photo of him asleep on her studio sofa, in a pile of pearls ... he says I can’t share it as it makes him look “fat” ... not true as he’s lost a bit more weight ... but there was a waffle sundae lol ...

So hope more pearl friends can join us in Sausalito!

Lol omg Cathy that is the most perfect description! :biglaugh: :07:

Oh, JEG, thank you for the photos of Kojima studio. I want to go so badly to Pearls by the Bay in May, but I cannot travel that far for one day. Sigh.

Oh, I hope we can catch up the next time, Purr. Fingers crossed, Linda. It would be fun to see you again! BWeaves, some of us will be staying in the Bay Area for several days around the event. There’s so much to do there.

jeg That seafood platter from Sausalito looks amazing, wow!!! I love your gorgeous Tahitian strands, and the earrings you made are lovely! I also noticed your fantastic modeling on the Kojima IG post today :D Goodness, I would sooo love to attend Pearls By The Bay, what a dream; I will be traveling that weekend this May, so I'm hoping for next time (and possibly for pictures from this time!)

I *finally* collected enough Cortez keshi over the last few years to wire-wrap this bracelet this weekend! Pearls from Druzy and the Cortez Pearls e-store. Paired with a SoC ring, also from the e-store a couple of years ago.

Ok, look...I mean...wow! Pearl by the Bay, Friends, Drinks and magnificent food...I mean, again: wow!
I'm actually considering going seafoodatarian just for one day. Never had real Dungeness crab and that platter does look amazing.
I'll at least try, or pop some oyster mushrooms to fool myself ;)
Great pieces! Those Ombres jeg really beautiful... SurfnSci love your Cortez keshi bracelet and ring!

SurfnSci OMG I love your SoC pieces!!! Such gorgeous colors and impressive that you matched pairs of the keshis on your bracelet, so well balanced!
