Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Your floating pearls are so pretty eolian pearls. Gorgeous new one from Kamoka.
@jag, lovely pearls. I like those challanged pearls. And that cloud is so pretty
SurfnSci, beautiful peacock tahitians. They look great on you. My cherry peacocks are challanged using jegs and Sarahs word. They have yet to find there place.

Thanks, BWeaves, Jeremy, SurfnSci, echo, Douglas, eolian and Charlotta!! Echo, I am pulling some of my leather and pearl things out next week and wearing them! Nothing you haven’t seen, though...

SurfnSci, those are not starter pearls at all! Beautiful peacock overtones on that strand!

Wearing the cloud again, with a Kojima pearl medley strand, and earrings I made.

There is something that I have begun to crave about these necklaces that slowly shift and blend their colors in a gradation. I once used to prefer the single colored and multi-colored (with Cortez pearls it was quite difficult to produce single-colored necklaces) necklaces but after seeing lovely examples like this one and others of course! I am now at a point where I believe I prefer color gradient and "Harvest" type necklaces.
I mean...the more Classic necklaces are beautiful! But these just make me want to stare at them for hours.

Hi! I don't really make posts here but have enjoyed this forum very much. I felt compelled to thank Jeg for taking the time to post photos and details. This thread is probably the first place I look when I come to this forum. I love seeing what you are posting and the outfit you are wearing with it. I greatly admire your style. Thank you.

I totally agree with you CortezPearls, there is something special about ombre style strands. I can stare at them forever, contemplating the colors, their placement, the shape etc. I often put strands on the kitchen window sill when I don't work, so that I can admire the colors. Not all of them, usually the one I wore the day before. It's a great way to solve placement problem, still haven't worked with the cherry peacocks but some day. Your ombre strand is a delight jeg, such a pretty strand

Ooh, I agree. There is something mesmerizing about the way a nice ombre or a wave or even a well crafted treasure or harvest necklace draws the eye around in an endless loop of discovery ... real artistry added to beautiful pearls! I too am in gratitude to all our lovely pearl friends for sharing such beauty with us all; we are blessed :)

Yes yes YES to ombres!!! And to daily pearl gazing by the window! And to @jeg’s outfits and pearls that always brighten my day!

As promised here is my new Kamoka chocolate, together with my Mini Love necklace.

Thank you so much, Douglas, Krissy7, Charlotta, Cathy and eolian! Krissy7, I am so happy you stopped by to post, and thank you so much for your very kind compliments!! I hope you will post more often to share or just to interact with us!

Eolian! Wow! Your Tahitian combo with the new Kamoka is so beautiful, and the sea.... sooooo inviting and gorgeous. Tahitian colors just dance in the sunlight. Our Ruckus shopping adventures in the Southern California sunlight were just magical because the Tahitians, especially, just lit up. Many of my Kamoka pieces are from those Ruckus’. You really captured that magic!

Wearing a circle Tahitian rope and bracelets I knotted with pearls from JNB.

eolian pearls your kamoka chocolate looks absolutely gorgeous with your T strand! Such a beautiful combination

jeg always love to see your circle T rope. It has such stunning colours. Your GSS keshi strand just makes my heart race. I always feel keshi pearls are best appreciated in person or by the wearer. They are quiet achievers. But your GSS keshi strand certainly stand out in your photo.

Couple days ago I wore my light GSS pendant on a silver omega chain. This pendant was purchased from an Australian jeweller a while ago. I love the pearl a lot. But the small bail hole gives me headaches because it will only fit onto a slim chain.

Eolian, what gorgeous pearl colors in the sunlight! We seldom see the sun here much right now, sigh ... LOVE that new Kamoka pearl, the color is SO very special! Jeg ... GSS keshi ... spectacular! Echo, what a lovely pearl that is! Might it be possible to have another, bigger jump ring added through the top circle of the bail? Krissy7, glad you're reading, do come back and chat with us, the more the merrier the pearl party :)

Thank you jeg, echo and Cathy! I am very happy with that Kamoka chocolate! The color is quite a chameleon, the pink shine comes out randomly and seems impossible to capture, but it is in there too!

jeg Those JNB peacocks are my holy grail circles! And somehow you have a whole rope of these beauties!
And those keshis...As echo said they are like the royalty of all keshis demanding immediate attention and admiration! Takahashi has some incredible pieces!

echo Lovely GSS pearl! A possible solution for the tiny bail is also a “clasp-like” ring, I was looking into those some time ago and have them saved on etsy, the shop has very good reviews also for this product. The shop’s name is FindRare and the item is called 14k Gold Clasp • Yellow / Rose / White • 8mm / 10mm • 1mm thick • Removable Hinged Connector Bail Charm Pendant Holder • Push Lock Ring

They are put of WG options now, but I am sure they will restock soon.

Thank you, echo, CathyKeshi, and eolian! Eolian, the circle pearls were a happy find. I just got back from a vault visit, where Imgarden had a gorgeous strand that had been held from a previous visit. A rope of dark Tahitians was the last thing on my check off list because I kept putting it off. I’m glad I waited because these pearls are so nice for circled pearls. Funny how I posted the SS keshi right after because that was the next to the last piece on my wish list. It took a long time to find a strand of bigger keshi, and this strand did not disappoint. Thanks everyone!

Echo, I use something similar to eolian. A gold hinged enhancer type piece, but I don’t have anything with quite as long a bail as your pendant. You’d have to see if you like it with the extra extension. Also, after looking through all my leather pieces, I realized that I have a ton of leather and seashell things, but not much with pearls. I might have to do something about that...

Welcome JohnLeaf, and your fun puddle find! Enjoy wearing that!

Stuffed seashell pendant from Kojima, leather and Tahitian bracelets from France, and an Akoya tin cup I wrapped.

Thank you so much for the recommendations Cathy, eolian pearls and jeg! I’m going to give the clasp a try once it’s back in stock. It looks nice and secure. Thanks to your ideas I experimented with a little WG sleeper earring I have. The only downside is once the clasp is added, the pendant will hang sideways revealing the bail hole. Not really an issue if the bail hole is round. But the jeweller made it almost a semicircle shape so the side worn against the chest would lay flat. Lol I guess this solution will do for now if I want to wear it on a thicker chain/cord.

Oh my goodness, everyone has such beautiful and unique pearls this week!!! I'm so excited to catch up!

jeg I don't even know where to start, haha! Your Kojima medley strand is divine, and your ombre SS/Tahitian rope is gorgeous. The JNB circle strand and your GSS keshi nugget necklace and that pretty tahitian keshi scatter necklace and akoya tincup, just WOW. ..And I of course just love seeing your cool stuffed shell pendant. Wow, so many incredible pearl looks to aspire to

eolian pearls Oh my gosh your mini Love tahitian strand is so beautiful! It looks amazing in the light! And it pairs so well with your new Kamoka chocolate T...ooh, I can't stop staring at your neck shot - what colors and luster!!

echo That is a very pretty GSS; it looks ethereal, almost iridescent. And I like your bail solution with the thicker cord. (I also like your comment that keshis are quiet achievers; I certainly agree and am only now starting to appreciate them for how fun and lovely they are!)

JohnLeaf What a find!!! And welcome!

Thank you SurfnSci! The mini love strand (7,7-9mm) is my little treasure, it looks very similar to my bigger ( 8-11mm) Love necklace but it is much more wearable. Here it is with my other floaters.

jeg I love everything about your pearls& shell& leather combination so much!!!! How you layered the leather necklace amd the akoya tin cup is a sign of master layerer that you are! I never would have thought that it could work so beautifully! Love love love!!!!

A peak of what is on my beading board, I am placing around and moving some pearls on both Bliss and Love strands...
