TThank you, Katbran and CathyKeshi! And welcome home, Cathy!
Another Kojima Pearl from Pearls By The Bay. I found three of these pearls I wanted to use as pendants. I don’t know what to call them. I describe them as potato chip pearls.
This one is an iridescent peach.
Worn on a leather braid-
This one has a natural hole making it a “natural” for a pendant.
Worn with the coppery, pinky, greenish strand I knotted from long temp strands from our Kojima Studio visit.
Oooo, love the potato chips. It's funny, I always think I don't care for certain types of pearls, and then someone from PG models them and I'm lusting after them.
I'm just past three weeks since my second total knee replacement surgery and am nearly off of the heavy duty painkillers. Everything is going very well and I expect to be a lot more active in a few weeks. In the meantime, my dear jeweler, Catherine, at Stephen Vincent Design, both strung up and delivered these two South Sea/Tahitian strands for me to enjoy. The strands, and the attached freshwater pendant were purchased during a visit to Kojima during my trip to San Rafael for the Pearls By the Bay event in July.
Ooh, I've been wondering how you were doing, Red ... what wonderful news! Your mix strands are just stunning, and that pendant WOW ... looks fabulous on the strands! You'll get lots of use of that pendant
Red, what lovely recovery medicine. They're beautiful.
It's still 95F here, but I'm trying to work in some pearls and not sweat on them.
The Hamantaschen on my yellow gold cable necklace. Kojima's mixed tin-cup. Baroque freshwater metallic drops worn on my Mom's diamond hoops. Lots of linen.
