Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Good morning from the Philippines!

Havent been posting much because I’ve been busy working, but I have been lurking and loving everyone’s gorgeous pearls!

Yesterday I paired a simple fresh water rice pearl choker that I strung myself, and paired it with a selenite pendant

Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe!

It is a great combo @StevieBoy (y)

Thanks, CatMom, BWeaves and Douglas!

Congratulations CatMom! Both on your anniversary and your new Akoya!!! They are beautiful and well-deserved! You’ll have a lot of fun playing with those gorgeous pearls. So, I remember your birthday was a Tahitian-fest… maybe your anniversary will turn into an Akoya-fest???

LOL, yes indeed it did, although more like a blue fest.

What kind of pearl is this?looks like a quahog pearl
That is GemGeek's Japanese Kasumi ring. She has posted that she got it from Kojima Pearls.

A blue fest?! Haha- don’t wait until your 50th to have a golden fest!:ROFLMAO:

Big puka shell necklace from Maui, with a couple of my pandemic creations- dangly earrings and necklace with dangles of Tahitian keshi, puka shells and gemstones.

Haha, that's next on the list. I love the bigger shells. So pretty and great earrings. I need to learn how to do that tin cup style. You do it so well.

I love the color and orient on The Swan! Beautiful.
I agree! And the dyed pearls have such good work on them, subtle...they make an excellent match for the pendant.

Blue baroque akoyas. The opera length necklace of intensely blue akoyas is from Pearl Paradise. The shorter strand is from Pearls of Joy. The Spring Rain pendant is from Kojima. And the black and white Tahitian studs are from Kamoka. I was going to wear my choker of Vietnamese blue baroque akoyas, too, but it's just too hot to have all that around my neck. The sunlight is washing out the pearl color, even in the shade through filtered light.

Yes, those blues really are that soap bubbly. And some of them really are that intense teal color.

I also love the purple halo around the eggplant colored stud.

And just to complete the blue ocean theme, here's a Sprang bag I just made with a mermaid on it. I've put a couple of matching drawstrings through the top holes to close it.
