Those are lovely. I call these necklaces Lei necklaces because they remind me of the flower leis of Hawaii.I recently acquired a strand of gray larger keshi pearls but they hung awkward because of how they were drilled. So, I restrung them with a white keshi of a similar size and twisted the strands. Now it is a very versatile strand that works with lots of different outfits. Nothing better than pure "clumps" of lovely-luster!

@MotherOfPearlTrumpet Love the off drilled keshi necklace! Such a fun piece!
Eventhough I am firmly on the ban island collecting shells for @jeg and @SurfnSci’s creations I still have some of my 2022 pearly projects floating my way;-) Here is a SoC mabe from Druzy that I had made into to a simple ring. I love the colors on this mabe! Ocean blue and green and sunny yellow...

Wishimg everyone a wonderful weekend! View attachment 463525View attachment 463526
My distraction from Ban Island arrived today and it was worth the detour. A very very rare Japan Kasumi pearl from Kojima. This pearl was from the 2022 harvest and it is big and beautiful. The natural color is unique- an intense violet that also has flashes of fuchsia and deep blue. I won’t be drilling this pearl, so thank goodness for the net pendant from Takahashi. I made the chain with tiny Akoya keshi from Takahashi. You can see more of the transitioning color in the second photo.

I love that chain cage pendant. Looks airy & comfortable for warm Summers.Thank you @SurfnSci! I am really happy with my new ring, SoS pearls are truly magical how chameleon they are! Here is another “in action” pic ;-) Your white Ts look beautiful, such lovely blush white silver blue...
@jeg Your Kasumi superpearl ( how big is it by the way? It fills the net up so nicely...) inspired me to try my aubergine floating pearl from OceanRhyme in the net. I love how the net manages to conceal the drill holes but still manages to showcase different overtones of the pearl. View attachment 463546View attachment 463543View attachment 463544
Oh, Jeg...the luster of those Akoya are so beautiful & suit you very well. Our weather is in the high 80's but will be in the 50's & 60's in a day or so. Rain is coming & bringing in a cold front. It's nice for now but will be gloomy & chilly through the weekend. Good thing we have pearls to cuddle up to.Love your net look, too, eolian! The pearl is not perfectly round- 14.3x14.8. On the bigger side for the net. Most the other pearls I use are 12-13mm,
Yay for tin cups, 86C! They look nice and cool. Wish our weather would warm up. We’re having an unusually cool start to spring.
Wearing a strand of natural white Akoya from Takahashi, with non pearl earrings and ring from Hawaii. And celebrating the cherry blossoms at my alma mater. Walked down memory lane with a lifetime friend I went all the way through the University with eons ago.
