It is. I'm not sure why. I find it a tad bigger than my usual 8-9mm strand which I find less formal.

Pandorasbox, when I was in college, my roommate had a single pearl on a long gold strand. I loved the look and wanted one of my own so bad but didn't want her to think I was copying her. So I never got a single pearl in college, but I have a few now! Making up for lost time!!! :)

Today's pearls, I'm wearing my Tahitian pearl earrings from Pearlescence. Listed as pistachio but they look more silver with a touch of pale aqua IRL to my eyes.
Arrghhhh the pics....they don't appear upright...
