I hope you keep the top two. To my untrained eye, the second from the top is killer. I go for shape, rather than color, and prefer the poils that resemble mitotic cells. Speaking of which, Pandaexpress, your strand is to drool for!

I'd say you will keep 1st (352), 4th (413) and bottom (345). You did say you like circles with lots of colors.

Cathy, You nailed it all the way. I am keeping the 3 you listed, and if anyone wants the other 2, please PM me. It will be Jeremy's price. The colors are deeper and darker than what is showing here. (I wish I could get to the PP link). They are very tempting to me, but I have been on a buying blitz and MUST stop. They are loose strands, no knots or clasps.

And here's a pic of the first project done with #345, the bottom strand. It is wrapped with silver wire and these are Kojima second-harvest FWs. I love the combination of the smooth, silky FWs with the circled pearls. As usual, I am dissatisfied with the quality of the download to relay the colors etc.

It arrived yesterday, and they are big compared with my existing baroque Tahitian strand, lovely!

If anyone missed these and would like a strand, I am letting go of #398 (see Hanaleimom's post above for a link). There is no clasp, and they are unknotted, so the price would be $250. which is what I paid. PM me and let me know if you'd like them. They're very nice and colorful, but I had to limit myself to 3 out of the 5 as I stated above. If you want to see some of the things I've been doing with 2 of the strands, I just posted on the "Show us Your Pearls" thread.

Just sitting at my desk in the midst of another 14 hour day, ready to print my programs and open my play tonight. I took a random shot of the circled strand from the special that I am wearing today (for advertisement of course). This is with Mac's Photo Booth, no adjustments, whatever light is coming through the window. So many colors - pretty wild. Ummmm. Back to work.

That is a lovely strand, and I am glad you felt good looking at it

Here is mine, belated pics, on its own, and with my existing baroque strand. The clasps are not originals - I changed the clasps around on a number of strands, and re-strung them myself

The PP strand is big, as shown in the second pic, against my existing strand which is 10-12mm or something like that, very happy bunny indeed

I have been thinking about getting a women dinner suit/tuxedo made, and am looking at suitable shirt styles that would show off my pearls or diamond pendants

Hi, I LOVE my Tahitian necklace that I purchased in the tahitian baroque dec. buy from PP, It's my favorite thing to wear and I wear it with lots of different colors. I've got a close up neck shot and pictures of the necklace with a white shirt and a red shirt. It's got a wonderful green body tone with peacock colors.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I think I am officially addicted..I plan outfits around what pearls I feel like wearing and I bring pearls to knot on a long plane ride for something to do.
