Photos from the Ruckus 2016

Purrhana,

How long is your Tahitian rope? It's amazing how different it does look depending on who's wearing it! Ooh, I love your SOC mabes too. I'm desperately trying to convince DH that 1) men do actually attend ruckuses and 2) how much fun it would be to go! The best I've gotten so far is a suggestion that I go meet my "pearl friends" by myself next year.

Thank you ladies! and Red it was woooonderful to finally meet you too! Still drooling over your baroque gssp rope and kamoka klonkers and kasumi ring amongst others!

cmd2014! My rope was 54" - PP can make 54" rope from blending 3 hanks.
See - now you have plenty of ammunition to show DH how much fun ruckuses are for men! ;)

Brad really did rock those pearl ropes!!! (so much better than any "rock star" if you know who I mean :) )
It was a truly memorable ruckus.
In many ways it was like a family reunion getting together with dear old friends. This year we added many new family members.
Thanks again to the ever gracious Jeremy and Hisano for hosting and making it all possible.

Great looking pearls. Love the photos. And loving pearls on man.

All the posts are so great, thanks to all! Purr, your post is darling with your hubby. I sent you a message!

amazing photos, everyone!! thank you for sharing the experience with those of us who couldn't make it. everyone looks relaxed, happy, and pearly!

@cmd2104,
My question here for everyone who went to Ruckus. I have tons of photo of you guys. Please tell me which way you wan to post it.

I would love to see the pictures posted into the actual thread. Then it becomes easier to ask questions about certain pictures with quotes. It then takes on a permanent post. What if something happened to the drop box then the pictures are lost. The thread either becomes a feast for the eyes or empty without pictures.

Good idea to add pictures to the thread - I will add more here as well.

And Newberry you can download the pictures from dropbox and save a copy to your hard drive!

Newberry has a point. So many of the older threads on PG are devoid of photos that were originally posted on hosting sites and subsequently deleted.

There are a great many photos-- probably too many to post on the thread -- but if the close-up photos of pearls could be posted here, it would be great.

Purr you are a delight. I so enjoyed meeting you and your great fellow. He was such a good sport and wore pearls with such style! And last but not least your pearls are exquisite and the styling adds a certain panache that I just loved. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the new ones.

There were so many over the top exquisite, wonderful eye popping pearls this weekend that I say the more Pearl pictures the better on this thread.

I was in a room just off the living room and each morning and night it seemed to be a gathering spot of women trying on pearls. And the men were looking on just watching. At several points each day the queen sized bed was covered in pearls. Each pearl was examined and given the opportunity to be ooooed and aaahed over. Lots and lots of special moments with special pearls and very special women ;)

Sorry to be late, but was busy with DH. I purchased two items so far. Both Sea of Cortez pearls. One was from Blaire who had a few items for sale. I had this SOC pendant from a past ruckus purchase so I had to get this companion ring made by TriGem Designs using Douglas's Pearl In 18k image.jpg image.jpeg

I bought this pendant and earrings with Douglas's Sea of Cortez mabe' last year so I got this mabe' for a coordinating ring. The teal indigo in the center row right side. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg
