This ring is just so unique for a pearl ring. I am ga-ga.

I just love the way the color of the pearl is enhanced by the color of the stone and a few sparkly diamonds as well. And it is in yellow gold -- my favorite. Gold says GOLD - -there is just too much white metal running around these days.

Just beautiful and thank you for taking the time to post a pic.

Love that design! The fun thing about rings is that you can see them all the time.
This topic has given me ring lust.

Another pearl with something floating nearby... online, I could not find any trace of exact model from Carrera Y Carrera I I meant to post... something like this, but with a somewhat larger gem-set thinghie next to the pearl.

A tad cheesy? Would like a more geometric version of this though.

I think it's pretty ? maybe on a slightly thinner band. A colored pearl might show the details of the design a little more, though it's nice as it is. Where do you find all these things?!?

Hello,
Why not to try a completely different pattern, black-wooden ring for austalian pearl ? Rough of wood with a delicate pearl, what a surprising look !

Hi,

I like a pearl surrounded by diamonds too. Here is my favorite.

CLICLASP, how large is that pearl and the ring altogether? I love that design! The wood makes it look earthy and the color of the pearl goes so well with it. I really like it!

Pearls & wood look great! The combination in a ring is a first for me, necklaces and bracelets seem somewhat more probable - unusual those too.

Second the bid for details!

Thanks a lot Valeria and Mandy.
The pearl is a flawless australian golden button shaped 12,96mm X 12,39 mm, I have it fixed on upper size of the wood ring which is 23 mm X 20 mm. The ring is overall 32 mm high before mounting, 42 mm high with the pearl after mounting. The inside size is 56 french which is a 7,5 american size .

Wood is ebony but walnut and holly available, matching bracelets and hairpins, as well.

This has been made with wooden rings from a french designer, I started mixing unusual opposite material, a little bit like listening to rock and roll while drinking a cup of tea. Looking for the neverseen before ? it is my way ! Glad you like it. Here are more pictures...

Oh my! How nice!

It isn't the first time I am admiring small, baroque freshwater used in lieu of traditionally available seed pearls. Indian jewelry does this... and they are a natural fit, of course. And it really is great to see how even the less highly preised members of the FWP family fit in a stylish context.

That being said, I could hardly imagine any other type of pearl fitting better in such a design. Awesome!

One does not incorporate pearls, alright. Jewelry bringhing pearls back to their origins (in association with shells, aquamarine stone, sea-fearing motifs) has a point, IMO (again IMO).

In reply to where this post started, by-pass rings are currently one of the most popular styles and best sellers. Here's one I recently gave to my wife:

Beautiful! Your wife is fortunate!!! Black and white is so hot too!!

Pattye
so many pearls, so little time

Yes, she fell in love with it the moment she saw it. The black pearl is a Tahitian and the white pearl is a South Sea. They are both approximately 10.5mm, the setting is 18k, and there is a total of .78ct GH/SI diamonds.

The last ring has the same style as my current favorite ring.:)

I just realized that this is similar to the Frederic Missir ring:
