Wow! Love all the great, clear shots of your gorgeous pearls, eolian pearls! The blues have my heart... Blues are my very, very fave, although there are many others that are a close second. Haha! I just love pearls, period. ;)

The most amazing pearly package from the wonderful Margaret just arrived and what can I say? I see loads of earshots in my future... :) Oh, and the tincup... and the charms bracelet...will write more soon now I need to go stare at these pearls again...

What a wonderful package! They’re all gorgeous. Looking forward to ear shots.

Thank you ladies! Yes, I was looking for “summery” as lucky for me that’s my look 8 months a year :) The story goes that I had dozens of pearls left from other projects and contacted Margaret if she was willing to work with me on creating fun summer pieces... “ asymmetric” was the key word used...and how well that collaboration turned out!!!!

Some details about the pieces for anyone interested...

The tin cup+ bracelet+one of the earrings circled peacock tahitians were selected from a strand I bought from Wen ( 8-10mm, one of the bit more expensive individual strands she listed) the same strand I used to make the candy necklace+bracelet. The raw gems are tourmalines...

The Kojima-style earrings have 7,5-8mm round blue akoya pearls also from Wen and 7,5-8mm golden round freshies that were also a special listing a few years ago...the smaller akoyas are from Wendy...

The ripple earrings - the big one was a pendant bought from Kong’s that I never used so I sent it to Margaret to try to pair it with some of her pearls...

The rest of the pearls are from another strand - they are far from perfect they were the backside pearls...but they work well here...

Some earshots for you :) I did turn the photos around on my ipad and still they uploaded upside down...So sorry Pearl Dreams to give you extra work....

I love mismatched earrings. Yours are gorgeous. I love the tin-cups too.

I really like the Tahitian earrings with the abalone -- are the gems amethyst and apatite? Fun for summer.

Thank you ladies, grazie Alyend complimenti for your collection as well :) Little end of summer news from me...

I have finished my latest project a “ Fresh south sea rope” ... I bought a very baroque south sea strand at Loupetroop ( from one of PG members) and mixed these fun pearls with (mostly) white and (some) purple keshis I got from Kong’s pearls...I am quite happy with the result, I especially like how it corsades with my other keshi- blue akoyas rope... And I managed to put some goldens aside for earring projects going Margaret’s way...:) So all in all a happy me :)
