Took some more photos of my rainbow strand hooked together with some of my other strands. It's especially nice with the blue tahitians that Wendy found in Hongkong for me last february.
The colors...
Then I sort of got carried away... White south sea strand from Cees. Rainbow pearls and pearls with rainbow overtones...
Greenish golden south sea pearls from Kongspearl
Some of the leftover pearls from the green strand that I combined with a vintage akoya strand. It's a great piece for layering.
Silver tahitian strand from Cees.
It's a good combination, but the silver tahitian strand and the blue tahitian strand are even better together, it's like a silver to blue ombre.
Green akoyas from Pearlescence with some dark green tahitians from Wen Pearls.
Some more rainbow photos.
Hooked together with my blue tahitian strand from Pearlescence, my silver tahitian strand from Cees and my white south sea strand from Cees.
Thank you Lilpearl, it really goes well with a lot of my pearls. I restrung my rikiteas with the same clasp, I will try connecting those two next, the rikiteas are very colorful in a tahitian kind of way. Sort of really muted rainbow colors.
Some new rainbow photos.
With my rikitea strand.
With my green akoya and dark tahitian strand and my silver grey akoya and dark tahitian strand, akoyas from Pearlescence and the dark pearls from Wen Pearls.
Still comparing strands. A very colorful drop tahitian strand, with the most colorful or my personal favorite pearls from a strand from Pearl Paradise and one from Wen Pearls. It's about 28 inches long and have some amazing colors in it. But it's still not as colorful as my rainbow strand.
I thought all pearls matched/ looked good together- but these poor little Tahitians, which are lovely in their own right, are completely overpowered by the rainbow strand!
