My rainbow strand!

Thank you Pareltje, I could add more pearls and make it a rope. I don't plan to at the moment, it's about 19 inches and it's really the perfect lenght for a 10 mm strand for me at least. And perfect for every day, I usually don't wear ropes to work because they can catch on things. However if I find a natural colored red pearl I would add that. It would be next to the clasp so it's not really super important.

Thank you lary007, I love it to.
I must confess that the pearls in the strand are closer to 11mm than 10mm. I must be blinded by the pearls shine, because I didn't even notice that the pearls are bigger than my 10,5mm copper green tahitians...Wendy and I talked about using 10 mm pearls, but change the size if necessary. Then I didn't much think about it. I must say that I really like wearing 11mm pearls.

Thank you Gemandpearllover, it's really special. I try to get some better photos today, it is even more amazing in real life.

In some better light.

Now I have to make cinnamon rolls, the dough has risen enough.

Cinnamon rolls and vanilla rolls all done, not-husband is pleased. He loves cinnamon rolls, mine at least but then my grandmother taught me to make them when I was 10 years old. Anyway I did compare my rainbow strand with some of my other favorite strands. First my tassel made from a vintage akoya strand.

Then my wavestrands made with deep golden south sea pearls from Cees and a double vintage akoya necklace.

Don't get me wrong, the sampler strand is still pretty but the rainbow strand is special.

Thank you Katbran. I do love my new strand. It's so very colorful and the light was favorable so lots of photos. Soon it's to cold to stay at the summercabin and the ever practical outdoor room with a see-through roof. It's so easy taking photos there as long as it's overcast and/or not to dark. At home is more troublesome. So I try to take as many photos as I can. During the winter we only check up on the house, but I bring pearls thst needs to be photographed with me if I think that the light might be good. That room is better than my lightbox, it makes the pearls look like they do in real life.

Played with my strands some. The rainbow strand looks great hooked together with my blue tahitian strand, Both from Pearlescence, making a rope. A very colorful rope. The photos don't show the strands to their advantage, since the light at home is terrible.

The pendant is my baroque blue south sea one from Pearlescence on a long freshwaters strand from Pearllunar.

This is what the strands looks like in better light.

And a better one on the pendant as well.

Such a useful strand the blue tahitian one. It goes with almost everything, except blue akoyas funnily enough. The clasp that I have been using lately is so useful, I can make a rope out of most of my strands now.

OOOOO, I love how the two strands play together. Looks great. And the tiny strand with the pendant is a great contrast. Lovely.

Thank you Katbran and BWeaves. It do look good with the blue strand. I Will try to hook it together with some other strands as well.

I like the rainbow strand attached to the blue strand. It allows most of the rainbow to show, and it is so pretty.
