My pearl project

I wanted to create a Marco Bicego-inspired necklace with an added dimension of interchangeability to it. So I started collecting the materials. Here it is, I'm still busy with the third and longest strand. The three strands can be worn in various ways. I just need to attach or detach the lobster claws clasps.

Here is the final result and the mechanism of the interchangeable system. I wanted to use orbit clasps but I found the size too big for this project.

So pretty! So the gemstones are briolettes....I really like how you have put this together.

I just wire wrapped each pearl and briolette and attached them to the chain. No special other technique. My patience was put to the test... pfff

Looks fabulous ! If I could make a suggestion ...consider using a flatter parrot clasp like this when you are ting several of them together. They seem a bit neater to me and not as bulky as the big head ones. Not a criticism !! It's a lovely beautiful necklace ! Well done !

Kat I have never heard that referred to as a "parrot" clasp....but they totally look like a parrot! I've always called them lobster claw and the pear shaped ones, pear lobsters.

I wanted to use orbit clasps, Cathy. I thought they are more elegant than the lobster claws. But where can I find them in the smallest size?
