Yes, Blaire, what a tour of the spectacular! I love the Care Ehret Cortez on the second row - (I'm saving for a similar pair on her site now!), and the abalone, also.

Don't the abalone pair match a ring that you showed us recently? I remember being stunned by it, and seems like they are similarly set, if memory serves.

I don't think you can go wrong with Care Ehret's Sea of Cortez pearls. And, yes, the abalone earrings match the ring! The color is soooo satisfying!

No, really, they are huge! They are so heavy that I have to wear double earlobe patches. (Lobe Wonder) If I wore them everyday, my earlobes would be brushing my shoulders!

Ear lobe patches??? Lobe Wonder????

These patches keep your earlobes from being stretched, and even if your lobe is torn through, you can put the patch on and wear an earring and it will be hard to tell that it isn't normal.

ewwww! Before I found Lobe Wonder, I only wore feather-weight earrings, so they aren't bad.

Well, mine aren't torn, but they are definitely more stretched than when I was younger, and sometimes hurting by the end of the day. I'm going with the "Wonder!" Appreciate the tip!

Yep, Blaire, we have the same jewelry storage cabinet-!!

Let me tell you what I did with my cabinet. I have the white one. Inside, I screwed in eight small "L" brackets. Then I screwed the cabinet into the wall with drywall screws. I never put the legs on it.

I guess I have collected a lot of pearl earrings. I didn't think about it until recently. It doesn't seem like a lot because I have a house full of pearls for jewelry-making (although I haven't had any time to make any lately).

I really appreciate all the compliments. Seeing the photographs of the pearl jewelry PG-ers make and purchase makes me happy, so I thought I would return the favor.

There actually is a wall mount version out now---------mine is the oak, with legs, now I need another one! You probably wall mounted yours before Lori even thought of it!

The other advantage is that it helps keep silver from tarnishing---
