My new WSS necklace

I knotted my recent purchase baroque strand into a necklace last night. These Paspaley WSS pearls come with very nice luster, and rose overtone. Size 11x14.

I don't think there is direct correlation between SS luster and overtones.

Your pearls are lovely! How about posting a neck shot when you get a chance?

Yes, I can see you waving!! So pretty, love the shapes and luster; just imagine how thick that nacre must be! Being so reflective, they will pick up whatever color you are wearing!

- Pattye, I am wondering the same thing. During knotting I looked in to the drill holes of some pearls, and I believe I saw at least 2mm thick nacre. I wish one day I can have a chance to have them examined by X-ray for a low price (or better free!).

Nobody saw my smile in the pearls ... Must be the webpage squishes the picture too small.
