Kalmen22 - I think, it looks really nice on you, the drop have good luster! I wear them always doubled or tripled. It fits casual clothes very well, but I wore them also with a grenn dress, and it felt just right.

So...today more drop pearls arrived:
1 pink and 1 lavender strand and the rope for my mom.

I'm once more happy with my purchase, I love the few metallics in the lavender strand. I ordered them with the same clasp, that I can attach them together or to my rope! It's going to be fun!

I know you didn't If my order hadn't been lost in the mail, I think everything would have been fine. Since they were, I had to fight for refund.

What size black spinel beads do you want? I got some 2mm (teeny tiny) from this guy and I love them. I am putting together a bracelet and I have already ordered more for a matching necklace.

Lady-D - my order of black spinels came today, quite quickly, if I consider, that I bought it just 2 weeks ago. I'm really happy with them, they shine just like the diamonds of the Gellner rope, which I have seen personally last week. I even may order hte 3 mm strands and make a mixture of the in the rope, to give it more structure. Thank you once more for your suggestion!

Don't mean to hijack your thread, Katalin, but after you had such luck with your buy I decided to guve wenpearls another go. But this time I only ordered pearls from the cards that you can select the exact pair from..I would say these metallic oval/pear shaped pairs are a win! I think these will be wonderful dangles. Will post finished product asap!

Lary007 - I'm so happy, that you posted this picture, because I also ordered a bunch of the pairs, and one bag of metallics, but unfortunately they still haven't arrived, so I 'm really delighted to see your picture. According to etsy I can leave a review on 11.08., so I hope them to arrive in the next few days. This is the bag that I bought, and a few pairs also:

I am incredibly happy with these..they were so inexpensive! I already made a pair of gold-filled leverbacks out of the pinky-peach ones but I'm having a harder time deciding what to do with the lavender ones. DH always seems to have the right answer interestingly enough..so maybe he can help me out.

And katalin- love those! I actually went on last night to get some more pairs from the cards you show..of course I know now why the ones I preferred were already spoken for! you have good taste! And I ordered on July 28th and got them yesterday, but I am not sure what the difference in timeline is between the US and Europe.

I forgot to post that I got my stuff from Wen, too, and I like it. I need to take some pictures - the tiny seed pearls (I think they're 2-3mm?) have really nice luster but are very eggy. They almost look like little keshi. So for my purposes they're great, but they definitely aren't those pretty little rounds we've talked about. The 4mm lavenders are very pretty and have nice orient. The 5mm off-rounds are kind of so-so, but that's what I expected. Summary - what I got looks like the photos in the listings, so I'm pleased. I'm in the US on the East Coast and they took about 2.5 weeks to get here, so that wasn't terrible. I'll probably order again, I love the tiny eggy ones for different projects, they're fun.

Yes, I did. I have found that the holes were a tad too small for some of the posts I had (not all though). So if anyone plans to get some, you may want to ask specifically for the hole size you need. I noticed there wasn't an option for hole size in the half-drilled but there was in the full-drilled.

Your drops are so nice! I still haven't got mine, although they shipped already on 28.07. It's driving me crazy! I hate european customs, they sometimes hold items for one week!
Kalmen - I have the same idea! I want to make a station necklace from my drops, I just don't know, if I should make it with silver or gold chain, I want to wait for the pearls to arrive, and I decide after it!
