Please excuse me for answering this. You probably shouldn't wait too long. These pictures are representative of the PP website for THIS YEAR. These pearls at these prices are not really the norm. PP always has great pearls but the situation will go back to taxation and more expensive pearls next year. You won't find something better for the price later.

If there is something specific you want to see call PP and ask. They can work with you. It might cost a little more but will definitely be less now than later.

OK, while still warming up for the big event tonight at PP and tomorrow's Grand Finale parade of pearls, here are a couple of highlights thus far for me:

Left: An up-close and personal introduction to Octavia!

Right: Santa Monica Gem Faire. I left on the early side but on the way out saw this sign. Appears I missed all the fun (had no idea beaders were such a rambunctious crowd?I've heard of pillow fights but?is that the true meaning behind 'ruckus'?)!!

I may need to find some protective head gear before attending any further events here?

Hi Barbie,
Thanks for the information. I plan to call PP tomorrow about the baroque tahitians. If I can come up with a strand with colors and shine comparable to Renee's, I will be thrilled. Aren't her photos great?

What an amazing weekend! The party went from 7:00 p.m. until about 1:00 a.m. My scotch collection is nearly depleted! Steve came through with an amazing selection of wines and Mikeyy added an extra touch with POUNDS of caviar.

I was unsure if everyone would make it to the show/tell/sell today, but sure enough, they did. From 10:00 a.m. until people had to catch flights we were treated to some great pieces.

I am sure a lot of photos will be coming soon!
