Drilling pearls?

So I foolishly bought some really beautiful pearls that aren't drilled, thinking I would quickly master wire-wrapping and make some amazing pendants with them. HOWEVER. I appear to suck at wire-wrapping (haha), so I'm thinking having them half-drilled would be the way to go. I assume doing it myself is a mistake, so I wonder where I could have it done? I'm in the DC area and I don't know of any jewelers around here who really specialize in pearls. Plenty sell them but I don't know of any who really work with them. I have no problem sending them out, but would prefer something in the US so shipping isn't too crazy. I'd love some suggestions, please!
