i agree on the yellow gold clasp. also, the granulation against the roughness of the keshi and baroque pearls says "ancient civilization" to me, and i LOVE that style! just awesome.

Many thanks, Dear Friends, for your kind comments! The granulated clasp will stay for now as it has a very secure push/turn latch. I feel the dark Kamoka keshi make the strand seem less formal, so I'm certain it will be worn fairly often.

I like the clasp as well. Sometimes it is better to go against the conventional wisdom and let personality shine through.
