Some photos of my new golden akoya minitassel, whilst I wait for a golden tasselcaps. With my vintage akoya and golden south sea waverope.
With my other vintage akoya tassel.
The golden akoya pearls look great with most golden south sea pearls. This huge golden circled south sea strand from Pearlescence is one of my favorites.

Well that tassel got remade as well. My new tasselcap arrived and the golden tassel is now improved.
I made a waverope with the rest of the pearls from the triple vintage golden akoya strand. Here with my golden south sea strand from Cees.
And with it's tassel sister.
Today I made another tassel. Very fiddly this one. It didn't have a bar insider to attatch the little arms to, so I had to attatch them to the tasselcaps rings, with gimp. I am also out of softflex beading wire in very fine, so I used beaders secret. I did sacrifice two strands to make my latest tassel, a vintage akoya strand with some greenish golden south sea pearls and my drop tahitian strand. The drop tahitian strand I can remake later just a bit shorter. Some photos of how to make a tassel.
As you can see in the above photos the akoyas are slightly whiter than in the following photo.
On my rikitea strand from Cees.
On my tahitian baroque and keshi rope.

It's a pity tahitians don't come in 4 mm size. That would make an awsome tassel.

Wow! Love the tassels. Looks like you have the tassel bug, they are very addictive once you get going.
