Well that tassel got remade as well. My new tasselcap arrived and the golden tassel is now improved.
I made a waverope with the rest of the pearls from the triple vintage golden akoya strand. Here with my golden south sea strand from Cees.

Today I made another tassel. Very fiddly this one. It didn't have a bar insider to attatch the little arms to, so I had to attatch them to the tasselcaps rings, with gimp. I am also out of softflex beading wire in very fine, so I used beaders secret. I did sacrifice two strands to make my latest tassel, a vintage akoya strand with some greenish golden south sea pearls and my drop tahitian strand. The drop tahitian strand I can remake later just a bit shorter. Some photos of how to make a tassel.
As you can see in the above photos the akoyas are slightly whiter than in the following photo.

It's a pity tahitians don't come in 4 mm size. That would make an awsome tassel.
