I meant to post last night but after a fun afternoon at the trampoline park, my youngest broke both bones in his forearm. Looong hours in the ER yesterday but today he’s all casted up and ensconced on the couch, looking brighter : )

Oh no, BN!! Summer is the worst time for a kid to be wearing a cast.
Well, it's not quite pool weather yet. He should be out of the cast in about 6 weeks?

Was it his dominant arm, or non-dominant?

Thank you, Pearl Dreams! I’m not certain how long he’ll be in the cast. It’s the plaster kind that goes from hand up to the area close to the armpit. We go for a follow up in a week. I think it’ll be a few weeks in this plaster one and then the shorter, colored, fiberglass one that only covers the forearm. That one he can swim in. You are probably right, 6 weeks.

Most of those 6 (or so) weeks will be spent finishing out the school year. He won't miss out on too much summer fun.
