Day 270:

Golden South Sea necklace from Eiko Pearl and golden South Sea studs from Mikeyy’s suitcase. (Please, please disregard the terrible knotting. 2018 will be the year that I master this.)

I don't normally pay attention to the knotting, unless you bring my attention to it. I'm thinking that Beaders Secret in gold should be the thread of choice for your next restringing.

This is my philosophy Red: don’t draw attention to it and people will probably not notice. But yikes those gaps between pearls!

Absolutely. I brought both sizes of Beaders Secret with me to PP when I picked up my giant goldens, and they were kind enough to string them for me on the spot. So, I applaud you for doing it yourself.

Love the goldens...on the Beader's Secret, I would be so tempted to use a blush to rose color thread. Of course gold is a fabulous choice too. Oh, and I might experiment with some of the soft greens. The very best part of learning how to string is experimenting with all the wonderful colors!

I layered my mother of pearl necklace with Tahitian tin cup, feather pearl necklace, and Tahitian dangles from Kojima Pearl.
