365 Days of Pearls

Hey, granny panties never give you muffin top. At least, that's what I keep telling myself.

Hi amti! Here are some approximate measurements of the fireballs. Re-posting this pic to make referencing simpler.

From top to bottom.

Pearl #1 at the top is 12.5 x 15.5mm. Hisano had suggested I set this as a pendant because both sides are so interesting color-wise but I'm still tempted to have it as a ring.

Pearl #2 (greenie) is 18 x 22mm

Pearl #3 (clam shell) is 23 x 23mm

Pearl #4 is 16 x 22mm

Pearl # 5 (bottom white) is 23 x 26mm

Okay I'm going to make a couple of suggestions here for pendants ;)

I LOOOOVE Hisano's designs especially the ones where the gemstones just poke out. You might look and see if the pearls would lend themselves to some enhancement of the Hisano kind. This might give you something to ponder ;)

Top pearl #1 I could see because of coloring using tanzanite.
Pearl #2 emeralds would really look good with this one.
Pearl #3 the pink is crazy so maybe pink sapphires.

Happy pondering....

I've no clue why this never dawned on me! What a fabulous idea! Is this type of design possible with fireballs though? They've got a big bead rattling around inside. Did I mistakenly refer to them as soufflés?

Thank you for the wonderful suggestions!

Day 140:

OMG! Just when I think I've seen it all. That drop is STUNNING! And your top is, too!

Thank you, everyone! Still feeling crummy so I'll be brief.

Here is a better picture of the top. I'm really not sure how I'll wash it and maintain the crisp look of the flowers.
