how do you value melo pearls?... i saw 2 melo pearls witha trader... weight of each pearl was approx 50 ct...and had a bangkok lab cert stating them to be non nucleated melo pearls...the trader did not allow me to take a pic of the pearls...i am interested in buying them but dont know its real...

I to agree with Tom...get them certified woth Gia... If they are natural then they will fetch a real good sum... The necklace as it is looks really beautiful...avoid restringing them if the thread is still in good condition... the clasp is alos really appealing... cn you please post some pics...

For me the pearls look like freshwater/culture pearls from the photos...need to have a close look for a more precise opinion cn u please desc the skin and lustre of the pearls for the valuation..
