Here are my pearls from the same vendor. The first are 11mm light peacock blues. These are my least favorite as they are quite eggy and the surfaces aren't as clean as I would like. The second are some keishi also around 11mm. There are some great colors here but some pearls aren't...

    Recent Ebay buys

Aha! I knew there had to be a reason for the high shipping and low prices. I did find that if you buy multiples of the same item they don't increase the shipping rate. So you can get some deals that way.

Wow. Those black rounds look better in your picture than theirs. I should be getting my parcel today from them. I hope they are as good as yours.

    Fun with Pattye's metallic keishis

Just got back online after some time off and vacationing and had to take a look at these one more time. Annie - they are just so pretty and make me smile. Thank you for sharing.

    Pearl Mail

I am also awaiting my tester order from them too. Good to hear they are pretty reputable. I am waiting for some multicolor keishis (if you know me - that is no surprise) and some natural white/bronze coins.

Sarah - All I can say is 'Wow!'. I would never have imagined putting all of those together that way would come together so well.

    Fun with Pattye's metallic keishis

Those are wonderful. I love the different use of colors and the wire pigtails. I have no imagination and would never have thought of doing that.

How much fun and very beautiful.

    Pearl sizes and PowerPro

Bernadette, That necklace sounds lovely. May I ask what size the Akoya are? The reason I ask is I struggle with the knots when I alternate very small and medium to large beads. I end up either having knots looking to large for the small beads or knots the larger beads can slide over. I also...

    Just one of those nights.

Good morning all. I do feel much better after stepping away. I am heading to London today on business so the necklace will have to wait a week. I was hoping to finish the necklace last night and have the buyer pick it up while I was away. Good news is she didn't have a timeline and is fine...

    Just one of those nights.

Thank you ladies for making me feel better. I definitely need to step back for the moment and then begin again. It's weird that 90% of the time tying is therapeutic for me while that remaining 10% just makes me want to pull my hair out. I think it is a Sangria for me and then to bed. That...

    Tears of Mermaids Imminent

I cannot wait for November. I think that is probably the furthest out I have ever pre-ordered a book.

    Just one of those nights.

Ugh. Just had to vent my frustration. I am working on a three strand necklace and as I am finishing up the third strand I realize that that row is too long. And what is worse it is 18" of 3 mm pearls. I am dreading taking it apart. No chance there is anyway to shorten a necklace...

Wonderfully. It is amazing how much easier it is to start and end a piece when the holes are the same. I did buy a real cheap one and the handle broke off the first night. I hold it with pliers now. When it breaks I will definitely invest a little more.
