Hi,
Do you remember one thread about Indonesian pearl farms in which you posted some links of news paper from Indonesia describing the decrease in terms of quality and subsequent business losses? could you give me back the link? thank you.
Thank you very much, will have a look online. I've left it a bit late, we fly home on Wed but will see what I can do. We were in Queen's Street on Friday but I don't remember Marshalls. We did look in one of the shops, it seemed quite a lot of money and I have no idea of their value.
Thanks again
Happy Huku
Good evening!
I am on holiday in NZ and was looking at some blue pearls - from the paua, I think. Thought it might be a nice idea as a souvenir of our holiday and was just wondering if you knew anyone who had some for sale?
Thanks and regards
Happy Huku

Hello ilikepenguins and thank you for choosing a name that doesn't have pearl or pearly in it!
Hi Pattye, thanks for this friendly and welcoming message.
I don't participate too often, feeling that the level of expertise is high on the forum, much higher than mine, but I do appreciate the spirit and atmosphere reigning here !
Also, your thread and photos will not show until a moderator approves them, so don't make a duplicate post. Good luck.
You need to post a thread with photos. Go to "Forums", "What kind of pearls do I have", and read the instructions. Posting a visitor message on your own page means that probably only you will see it. :)
hello everyone, I have inherited some pearls and are finding it exceptionally difficult to find anything about them, so I thought I would post to the experts. I have a pair of apparently very old silver /pearl ear rings. They are in a red velvet box and have the following on the silk inside box material:- k mikimoto, giza, tokyo. Secondly a pearl necklace again in a red velvet box with a pink sash saying :- shinbido kobeand made up of 137 tiny pearls and 1 larger pearl on the clasp. I am not the luckiest person in the world so don't expect them to be a fortune, but any information would be helpful. If anyone would like pictures I can send some. Many Regards to all Gary
