Hi Cees! I am new in this forum, your pearls are really gorgeous, especially the golden ones! I noticed that you bought your pearls from jewelmer, I've been thinking of purchasing from them or from reputable pearl vendors mentioned here in PG. Could you please enlighten me on the difference between jewelmer golden pearls and golden pearls from vendors in the US, in terms of quality and price? I haven't seen pearls from those companies personally as I am new in this pearl hunting. But I just don't want to purchase them , compare and return the one that I didn't like ( I am really a newbie with pearls anyway! so I really don't know how to compare!)

Your input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Not me. Blair was always a man's name. Many years ago I added an e to make it feminine and changed my name. It was years before I heard of another and then there was a TV show with a character named Blair. There are now a lot of rwenty somethings with my name. :)

Was watching a tv programme on the ice age and there was a lady called Blaire... Was just wondering if it might be you??!! You are the first person called Blaire that I have come across so I immediately thought of you. She was also in California, perhaps Los Angeles, can't remember.

I am trying very hard to find out some information on pearls I purchased in a Estate Lot Sale - and thought I had uploaded the images to ask for help but now I cannot find those pictures or the message I wrote - I am absolutely clueless now and have no idea where to turn or what to do next. The pearls I bought have the vintage 10 kt clasp and are double knotted and yes I did the teeth test and yes it was absolutely gritty, icky and felt like my teeth were scratching a chalk board - any idea how I can get somebody to look at the pics I took and obviously - how can I post the pics? Clueless, queenbeecanada

Thank you very much, will have a look online. I've left it a bit late, we fly home on Wed but will see what I can do. We were in Queen's Street on Friday but I don't remember Marshalls. We did look in one of the shops, it seemed quite a lot of money and I have no idea of their value.
