These were purchased from Ebay the same week as the ones that were stolen when I recently had my purse stolen while out shopping, been wanting to get some information, they are the whitest strand I have bought so far, think I paid about 75, free shipping, so about 82 with state sales tax. Was very pleased when they arrived, but kind of deflated for a bit after losing the other ones, which I had just posted on here prior to the theft. So now I am going forward, and have a couple more as well, got one today, pretty much decided to put a pearl band-aid on my wounds and move on, lol!

Think I waited too long, losing daylight, will post more, better pics in the morning, sorry!

Sure thing!
If you could get some close-up photos of some of the pearls it would be great...to me it looks imitation, but the photos are not good enough.
In the meantime, try a UV light or the "tooth test" (I hate it!) or if you have a jeweler's loupe...try and look for imperfections and drill-holes.

Hi Douglas, thank you for giving me input! Knowledge is precious, it's great of you all on here to share yours! I really think it's the lighting, as I've already put them through the paces you've suggested, and they've passed them all, including an acetone bath! I may have a brighter pic somewhere on my phone, I'll check, if not, then tomorrow for sure! The rebound Pearl's are here! Posting them tomorrow

Ok, here's a few more pictures, trying to show drill holes better

They're most definitely the whitest ones that I own to date, pretty, but can't seem to capture it on camera very well!

Sorry that I still can't seem to be able to see much from the photos...the pearl are very lustrous and reflect too much light, blurring out any important features.
Pearls like these can be tough to photograph :(

I will keep attempting better pictures, may play around with the background cloth color, see what that does, but not today, lol, was over 100 here today (Seattle area) and I'm more wilted than my flowers!calling for 105 tomorrow and 112 monday! Yikes

Yikes! That hot over there!!!!:eek1:
It's even hotter than today down here (86F)...it's been coming down from the 110's but there is a hurricane approaching Baja.

Asked Alexa for the weather, she told me 86F...so I went outside thinking it would be "fresh"...and yikes! Humid, hot & sticky!
Checked my Weather App... definitively not 86!

This will be a HOT summer it seems, but them hurricanes are a'stirring in them seas! The "El Nino" will hopefully bring water to all the parched land of Mexico and the SouthWestern USA (I HOPE).

I've been worrying about that Baja hurricane Douglas! I hope it doesn't cause too much distress in Mexico, and for your area!

Oh dear! It has not been an issue and it already has brought BLESSINGS! We had RAIN!!!! :arms:
Last time I had seen rain was about march of 2020...so very much welcomed :D
